    Hordes of the Abyss.

    1. If you know no slight was intended, then why even bring something up like that but to create contaversy. 2. Indeed your opinion as you sugest in your 3. I have problems with it and spent my time tooling it to some extent, but it's there, it should be supported. Again, this is fine for your...

Age of Worms - Greyhawk or FR better?

LOL! Yeah, he can munch all the CR20ish demon lords!

    Hordes of the Abyss.

Every creature a DM uses is an option. I don't suggest every using them all. One of the problems with dumbing everything down to 20th level is that you reduce the use of Epic Handbook by not suppling options for epic play. I'm with the boat of people who say Demon Lords should be more...

Age of Worms - Greyhawk or FR better?

Well, I hear Dragotha makes his first ever appearence in the path. Now if there is anyone who knows the orgin of the undead dragon (first such creature ever mentioned), it make sense to keep it in Greyhawk. The names was only mentioned on a map that came with White Plume Mountain.

    D&D needs improvement

My thought's exactly. I mean how about the historical acuracy of evlves, dwarves, halflings and half-orcs. Might as well do away with them too.

    Accordlands RPG available

To be fair, from what I hear, the price creep is because of page count creep. Well, it's either that or they wanted to give the guys a bonus for the excelent job they did of getting the product to market on time. Doesn't matter I have all 4 books locked in for the low price of $24.77...

Have much of your gaming books have you read?

at this point in time I have 274 3.0/3.5/D20 OGL books. I have read 99% of them. [Edit] From previous D&D incarnations I have 230 or so. (Not every book is cataloged at this time) I have read them all.

How many 3.5e D&D Wotc products do you own?

I own every product that isn't an adventure and some that are. Now that said, do I think the spell compendium would still be usefull? For me, the answer is no, but only because I have the majority of the spells printed already in a database I created. You can't get any better than that. But...

    AEG downsizing

When I first tried to check it out it wasn't there as well. Only in the last hour or so did I actually see it on their page. It seems to be there as I write this. The forums are indeed back up.

    AEG downsizing

Warlord is 4 books clocking in at 1250 pages if you can still go by the site. That makes it a little smaller the size of Spycraft and WLD combined. I was just noting that because those projects were not announced until Warlord had already missed it's release date. I'm not saying that they hate...

    AEG downsizing

There was in fact a date set. The publisher has to give a date to distributers before they can put it in catalogs. They also have to give date to online stores such as Amazon. Heck I've had the books in my "Items not yet shipped" queue for well over 18 months, and I didn't even attempt to...

    AEG downsizing

Yes you generate interest by announcing a product early, I never disputed that. And yes some deadlines are missed, that the nature of things. But missing a deadline by more than two years is NOT going to generate interest in a product, especially when you don't keep your target audience...

    AEG downsizing

I have looked on the Foums. All that I ever saw was multiple forums for Spycraft, L5R and something I can't remember at this time (can't refresh my memory as they don't even have boards any more). Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but they did have more games than that right? Anyway, my point...

    AEG downsizing

I think that some of the problems may have been brought on by themselves. AEG took titles like 7th Sea, L5R, Dead Lands and such, then changed them to D20. Well, I bought those books because I like D20 stuff, but this put off their core fan base. So to try to get back the core fan base, they...

    AEG's Accordlands? [Summon Ghostwind]

When I had asked at Gen Con, they said they had hoped to have it then but it didn't make it. I wrote an email about three or four weeks ago and was "assured" it was coming out but they didn't give me a date "because they don't want to have a date they can't make." Yeah, whatever.

D&D 4E Would you have alignment in 4e?

Ok I had to vote. If good forbid there is a 4e, my answer would be yes. What there shouldn't be are spells detect good/evil/law/chaos and such. There should still be smite spells and the like but you should have to guess on your oppenents alignment and not just cast spells and kill the dude...
