D&D 5E (2014) How the heck do you use the Chase rules in the DMG?

I don't use the DMG chase rules. I just ask players what they're going to do, ask for a Dex check every so often to reflect them gaining on the enemy, and ask for the appropriate checks if they decide to do something wild. Unless that wild item happens often, then I just have them make a single...

    Cost of Arrows?

Part of what kept medieval arrows relatively cheap was that a lot of blacksmiths paid their taxes in arrowheads.

I gotta ask: the "laugh" points, are they meant as appreciation or as mockery??

I click laugh for something I geniunely find funny. Unfortunately, the wait time between clicks means not all posts I find funny get a laugh.

Hitler didn't really want to exterminate the Jews or that thread that you need to read before you report it

And if we don't have both sides wanting peace, it won't come. Netanyu and those like him don't want peace, and the Palestinians actually have a legitimate reason for wanting the Israelis completely gone from the region. See, the British promised what is now Palestine and Israel to the...

Pathfinder 1E What Made You Switch To Pathfinder?

I can make a healing shiv that does exactly one point more of healing than it does damage and stab someone to health. And it's not too strange compared to everything else in the setting.

    D&D 5E (2014) Race Brackets (2) Half-Elf v. (3) Tiefling

It makes sense if they're all the same genus. Even in real life, it wouldn't be the first time humans have bred with another species. By all evidence, modern humans would be considered a half-race. Dragons, though... I don't want to know how that works. That wouldn't be scientifically possible...

Hitler didn't really want to exterminate the Jews or that thread that you need to read before you report it

To reply to the first post... The sad part? Given the stories coming out of Israel and Palestine about what both sides are doing, it's apparent that the leaders of both sides are as bad as Hitler. They are apparently fighting a war of mutual genocide. It's honestly getting increasingly to the...

Or he just pushes the Earth into the Sun and hope it's not an interation of Batman that can breathe in space.

If you thought the Presidential election was going to be insane in 2016...

Preparations to blow up the planet are well under way. I kinda pity whoever runs for nomination for next year. It's increasingly looking like that election will be Bernie Sanders vs. Donald Trump. If Clinton hadn't gotten mired in a worse scandal than her husband managed, she might have a shot.

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

Is now a bad time to point out the growing body of evidence that the medieval ages may have been more egalitarian than the modern world? The anachronism in A Knight's Tale with the woman blacksmith wasn't that she was a woman, but that people had a problem with it. As it turns out, there were...

    D&D 5E (2014) Race Brackets (2) Drow v. (3) Eladrin

It was probably done for the same reason tieflings officially became NPCs: So many people were playing them that it was pointless not to give in to the inevitable.

    D&D 5E (2014) Race Brackets (2) Gnome v. (3) Dragonborn

Blasted gnomes, always yapping. I swear, whoever taught you how to parrot the other races needs a good kicking... Here's a treat, now go lay on your gnomie bed in the corner. The sentient species have some talking to do.

Hot elf-on-tiefling action and why it should be encouraged.

    Constitution? 14th Amendment?

That is most laws on the books in America these days.

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

The idea of discriminating against someone purely based only on their descent is relatively recent for the most part; it's well known by historians that there were people of African descent in Northern Europe centuries before the colonial powers decided to invade Africa, and that people really...

Superman < Batman < Iron Man

    Too true!!!

    Constitution? 14th Amendment?

That would be a clear case of discrimination. And if the law was written with such actions as the intended outcome (it's very likely it was), then I could see a good argument for it being discriminatory and being necessary to repeal.

    Constitution? 14th Amendment?

How do you know? Not being snarky, if I come across that way. I might be lacking information. You seem very certain of your stance, so maybe you have something I haven't read that shows those other consular IDs are being accepted.
