    Something's out there....

Nah. More likely the remains of a Reaper that got shredded in combat a few million years ago.

    Ending Viral Disease

Viruses are theorized to be part of the essential mechanisms of human evolution. If this is correct, what he's proposing could be a very, very bad idea in the long run.

    Something's out there....

I doubt it would be a Dyson Swarm. Those might cause unexpected problems for other planets in the solar system. Maybe it's an asteroid belt of some sort?

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

A lot of people would be offended because that pairing would be evil, and potentially sending the message that lesbianism is evil. Which, to be fair, has actually been used a lot in the past when it was the only depiction of lesbians in the entire work.

    D&D 5E (2014) FINALS! (1) Fighter v. (1) Wizard

I voted wizard, simply because I couldn't pick both. I love a fighter, but I never liked how DnD handles magic-using fighters. If I want a fighter with a sword that bursts into flames as a result of their aura, I don't want to pump so much into intelligence to get the spellcasting ability.

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

I dunno. I've seen a lot of equality groups that state the issue of being treated like garbage in any way will go away once they're not being actively harassed. And from what I've seen in cases where active harassment isn't present, even among those in power, that isn't even remotely close to...

    D&D 5E (2014) Spelljamming in 5e

Any rules for mixing technology and magic?

D&D 5E (2014) Player challange Vs Character challange (Metagaming)

Wow. People who think the poll is dumb currently outnumber people who agree with player skill. I'm character skill... because there's things the character can know the player doesn't, and vice versa.

    D&D 5E (2014) Templates in the MM

I've found that, even with the lack of templates, it's not been hard at all to make whatever I wanted with how 5E is structured. It's probably one of the better editions for that.

    Some famous starships

The original Enterprise was a heavy cruiser, and the Enterprise D was an Explorer-type vessel (basically, a heavily-armed long-range scout ship).

D&D 5E (2014) The "Lawful" alignment, and why "Lawful Evil" is NOT an oxymoron!

Here's the 5E text on Lawful Evil: What you describe as evil is this: Here's where you run into problems: The "Just Following Orders" defense. A lot of Nazis actually did put the orders of the organization ahead of their own goals, including some very high up in the organization. So many...

D&D 5E (2014) The "Lawful" alignment, and why "Lawful Evil" is NOT an oxymoron!

Depends on who you're talking about. There were also a lot that completely believed in the Third Reich, and actively hunted that corruption. One thing that gets glossed over a lot is that the Nazis were not a single organization or group; they were a political party made up of a lot of...

D&D 5E (2014) The "Lawful" alignment, and why "Lawful Evil" is NOT an oxymoron!

The most famous examples existed in Nazi Germany. And in the Soviet Union. And, for awhile, the FBI was an American example. It has since cleaned up its act.

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

As sites such as Not Always Right show, being considered a jerk really isn't much of an incentive to stop being one or much of an incentive for large numbers of people not being jerks. And, sadly, laws typically protect jerks as well as those who are not jerks. Plus, there's a surprising number...

D&D 5E (2014) The "Lawful" alignment, and why "Lawful Evil" is NOT an oxymoron!

I always thought of it as Lawful being following the laws, even if you disagree with them, while Chaotic are willing to break the laws. The Good or Evil part is what reflected how you felt about morality. So, a Chaotic Good character would be willing to break a law for the greater good... while...

D&D 5E (2014) 5e's new gender policy - is it attracting new players?

I don't care what your gender identity is or if it matches your sex. I don't care if your character shares that. I know far too many people who cannot roleplay outside of a close match to their own experiences and personality. What I care about is if you can roleplay. So, my policy is this...

D&D 5E (2014) Is 5th Edition Directly Descended from Star Wars Saga Edition?

Darth Vader might disagree with you :P How about Force User as a class, with Jedi, Sith, and Unaligned as the subclasses? Each can further have different builds within them to represent different divisions with the subclass.
