What campaign settings are in print and what is good about them?

I second this, and all the other votes for Wilderlands. I haven't played a lot of the settings that have been mentioned here, but Wilderlands is my favorite from the ones that I have used. From the sound of your post, I think you should go with it. The boxed set is the actual setting, and the...

    Bard's Gate...thoughts?

Bard's Gate is a really nice, portable city. It wasn't a chore to read through the book, and a lot of city books can be a chore for me to get through. The books and map are black and white, and the art and cartography is great. I think it's probably my favorite city book out of the ones I own...

Is a map like this useful?

I agree with this. You might want to do a basic overland map with a scale for yourself, to keep track of distances and such, but that map is really nice for a player handout. That could even be photoshopped into looking like an old hand-drawn map they might find in a treasure hoard or something.

    Who Kills Your PCs?

I think it's happened maybe two or three times that I can remember. The one that we always joke about involves a basilisk that turns people to ice instead of stone. One of the characters was turned into ice, and the wizard thought it would be a good idea to try and kill the monster with a...

WotC Dungeon Tiles vs. 3rd Party Products

I usually just use Tac-Tiles, I am very happy with them. Although Skeleton Key Games just made some really nice Rappan Athuk tiles, and Ptolus tiles too. The WotC ones look pretty cool, but I think that unless I will be playing them for one specific inteded use (a la the SKG Rappan Athuk ones)...

What do you use the space UNDER your gaming table for?

My dog sleeps under there while we play. (The table is in our dining room, so I doubt I could get away with keeping gaming stuff there.)

    Internet connection problem. Need help.

After trying just about everything I could, I ended up doing a system restore (which was my last resort.) Everything is working fine now. I hate to do a system restore, because now I will never know what caused the problem, even though it's fixed. Ah well. Thanks for the help anyway. :)

I am having trouble logging in to any type of secure page, such as the ebay login screen, hotmail, or my online bank. Sharn Inquisitive campaign in Eberron

I hope to someday run a solo campaign with a Sharn inquisitive that would be similar to the Millennium tv series. I would set it up sort of like season 1, where each episode (or adventure) was a new crime/mystery with a new bad guy. I think that would be a really fun campaign, although I think...

The most disturbing thing youve seen/experienced

http://www.facesofdeath.com/ A lot of cheesy semi-real gore and supposed videos of death from around the world. I'm amazed you never heard of it, I thought that it was a law that everyone had to watch these at a sleepover sometime around the age of 14. ;)

The most disturbing thing youve seen/experienced

The lion video is fake also. It was on one of the Faces of Death films. Probably 75% of the Faces of Death stuff is fake. As far as I know, the only clips that were proven to be real are the autopsy clips... Which really aren't that disturbing.

The most disturbing thing youve seen/experienced

If it's the video I'm thinking of, it's not real. Here is non-gory screen shot, is that the one you are talking about? I have read a few different articles debunking it, and after watching it a few times, it does look really fake... Like I have seen hollywood movies that are more realistic.
