    [LPF] Silent Tide

He looks to Robert puzzled, “Never heard it in me life, mate. Should I have?” His gaze slowly drifts to the red headed woman’s glaive, “Oh, right, apologies, love. I was more than a little startled by…wait, what's this about undead? Here?” He looks up sharply before taking a second step back...

    [LPF] Silent Tide

Sighting the woman's glaive and the hurrying adventurers, the man is caught off guard, he takes a step back from the trio as the man shouts at him before throwing his hands in the air, pausing in an attempt to gain his composure. "Whoa friend, weapon away, please milady. I'm new to Venza, and...

[LPF] Barrow of the Forgotten King

The Navigator looks about at the others. A slightly displeased look on his face. "A wonderful idea, waltz in, say we would like to inspect your mausoleum for an ancient hidden treasure." He gestures exaggeratedly as he speaks. "All in the name of archaeology, of course, the greater good, all...

Do you care what other people think of you?

Of course, though most of those people are work related or hobby related. In the case of the first it's about being a representative of the company I work for and wanting it to look good, or building from within. As far as hobbying, I want people to enjoy the stuff I do so that the hobby grows...

Pathfinder 1E Tactician not a power gamer

You Scored as Storyteller: You're more inclined toward the role playing side of the equation and less interested in numbers or experience points. You're quick to compromise if you can help move the story forward, and get bored when the game slows down for a long planning session. You want...

How important is it that a dungeon makes sense?

I think it’s partially important, a straight up dungeon I do try to ensure everything has functionality, the bad guy has escape plans, any residents living there have an ecology, sentient beings try to separate themselves from monsters and animals (or use them if possible), generally staying...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Players: What would you be playing/buying if PF didn't exist.

3.5, 4e didn't go over well with my group, and the 3.5 library not requiring much to adapt is the only reason we could even move on.

[LPF] Barrow of the Forgotten King

He had been casually listening in, and it sounded look an excursion with potential, but how to get in there. Then, The Navigator's ears perked up as he took a swig of his rum. The magic word. Treasure map. A potential adventure and reward. Who better than he to find it? It was, of course, his...

[Tavern Thread] The Dunn Wright Inn

The door to the Inn opened, and he walked in with a practiced casualness. His dark hair a wild mess on a handsome, if somewhat scraggly haired face. It is his eyes that draw in the most attention, a bright purple, giving away that he is not completely human. Under the hair, the slight points of...

    Character Submission Thread

You can never depend on factual information from unreliable narrators. :) Quick question for whomever: I have approval, but may I switch some ability points to provide some extra survivability?

    Character Submission Thread

I'd like to submit for approval The Navigator. I haven't had any success posting anything (it's told me I've needed approval from a moderator every time I've tried, and nothing has ever posted) so I can't link. :(

When and how did you learn to play D&D?

Checked it out with a group of friends, we were all into console RPGs and decided to check out where that all stemmed from. Went in on the 2nd Edition Core Books, had no idea what we were doing really, but we had fun, even though only me and one other person really kept gaming.

How do you feel about DMPCs?

I'm not a fan. The DM already gets so much of the spotlight, he shouldn't need any more by inserting himself into the party. I'm flexible on transient allies, as a player it can draw me into the game more when most of the other PCs know what I do, the ally can provide someone outside the party...
