The avariel have much different stats than the regular elves. for one, they have an ECL. Their favored class is cleric, i believe, and they have minuses to str and con. i think dex, int, and maybe wisdom go up.

In Seafarer's Handbook, the Half Merrow race has something called Imposing Demeanor. They may substitute strength for charisma in an intimidate check, and intimidate is always a class skill for them. Why not make this into a feat? Dont put a requirement of a neg charisma, but still....

Hmmm...im just trying to get a decent end monster for the campaign im workin on. I think a CR 16-17 aint that hard. Maybe add even more HD on there(past the norm...this is gonna be one tough Kraken)

Im just curious. I cant find my DMG, so i was looking at the monster advancement in the MM. It says you dont up the CR for a creature no matter how much you up the HD. So if i take a Kraken(20HD), and up it to max (60HD), its still a CR12 encounter? I understand they get 3 times the XP, but...

In one of our campaigns, the DM house ruled that sorcerors get bonus spells known due to their high stat. So my dwarven sorceror has more spells known than are listed in the PHB. That helps even more.
