Love can bite you on the ass - after death

Easy. The Raven Queen does not appreciate this "lesser god" - all dead are hers and all undead are to be destroyed. Revenanthood is only for those who are worthy. Thus, she gives His Love a chance to return to life, to see her family, to speak with her loved ones in exchange for killing the...

    Dragon 381 - Sorcerer Essentials

Did anyone note the little sidebar at the end of the article? It sure felt like it was pointed at the discussions here about the "non-optimized" aspects of the Essentials Articles...

    So... Psionics?

It should be said that we will be changing the Base Attack Bonus for the Soulknife after conferring a bit with Paizo regarding design-choices. The Soulknife that we are designing will have full BAB and D10 Hit Dice. Everyone is welcome over to our Pathfinder forums for our latest Alpha/Beta...

MC: Eyes of the Vestige, Cursing and other Warlock questions

Well, it turns a little nasty at Paragon with Versatile Master if you, like me, are a half-elf with Eyes of the Vestige as the chosen Dilletante power as well...

MC: Eyes of the Vestige, Cursing and other Warlock questions

    3. However, the feat doesn't say that "all curses end" but rather "this curse ends after you deal its extra damage to an enemy". Now, whether or not that means that every curse I get to place ends after I deal the extra damage, it definately does not mean that if I place 6 curses, they ALL end...

MC: Eyes of the Vestige, Cursing and other Warlock questions

Hi! I have a few questions that need interpretation. I'm taking Pact Initiate: Vestige Pact and I am wondering if I do get a Vestige to go along with my Eyes of the Vestige power? In other words, does it augment? Second question - Eyes of the Vestige lets me place a curse on an enemy within 3...

D&D 4E Help me improve my sci-fi homebrew 4e rules

The Dreadnought doesn't seem to have an "while focused" ability, which essentially makes it very suboptimal to use unless you wanna spend a turn healing and thats about it. Overall I like the concept, the Afflict rules feel a little complicated. I would suggest looking these over. My initial...

Warhammer 3e Demo Experiences -OR- How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bits

However, does those 60 pounds include dice? Character sheets? Sure, the three core books are about 60£, but the boxed set of WHRP is more than just books. It is dice, character sheets, counters and a crapload of other stuff. :D Just pointing these things out.

What could 4E learn from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay?

I spent about the same amount of money on the three core books as this costs. And for the same amount of money, if I would've gotten pre-printed, beautiful power cards, and character sheets, and standups for both monsters and characters and a box to keep it in? It would've been awesome. I mean...

What could 4E learn from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay?

So, I'm awesomely impressed by the quality and width of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay in how it was put together and assembled. Take a look: Fantasy Flight Games [Videos] When you get back, tell me - how do you think that 4E could've been "rethunk" with this kind of background? Me personally I...

    Myconids, how to use them?

I can see the players weeping at these guys as it doesn't quite matter how much they keep hitting, they can take enormous amounts of damage. Two Rotpriests who can take the full damage from attacks onto themselves and then fall back to regenerate? Nasty. And the 2d10+3 damage from the Rotpriests...

ALCHEMIST in Resa & Kiel article

Depends really on how you conceptualize "primal" energies and its connections. Hell, the "Seeker" when described as a "ranged controller with a bow" sure doesn't sound "primal" either. :D

ALCHEMIST in Resa & Kiel article

ALCHEMIST in Resa & Kiel article

Ok, so I think I just found another new class: the Alchemist. It is referenced in the Resa part of the article with the following: So, considering that the concept of the article is "primal" characters that the Alchemist is a Primal Leader and will accompany the Seeker in PHB3. Whatya think?

Subscribers now get the entire WAR OF THE BURNING SKY campaign saga - in 4E AND 3.5!

How about setting up 12,18,24 and 36 month "subscriptions" at PayPal where you pay up for an entire year or more for those who don't have credit cards? That way, you know you get atleast XX$ from a person, even if he or she doesn't renew after a year?

    Withdrawing material from the OGL?

Using OGC is what the OGL is there for - to allow us to use eachothers material. I agree with pawsplay, ask if they want to be credited and be done with it.

    Withdrawing material from the OGL?

Please do post the book atleast so that we can look into the OGL declaration. Also note that the email writer might be pretty general in his reponse (ie - don't post what we copyrighted) rather than meaning (we are trying to revoke the OGL and make it copyrighted).

    Cost of artwork?

A good, "pro game quality" artist is probably around 1000$ for a colour cover. Some charge by the hour, in which case you'll get somewhere around 50-100$ per hour.

Orcus of Necromancer Games says "You were right, I was wrong"

Ah, well that does explain the inability (or rather, major workload) to convert it into a normal 4E system. Thankyou for taking the time to share and explain, as I guess that the others are somewhat on the same scale. However, @Clark, that still leaves the question - was it the GSL rigidity...
