What happens to active spells once a character is killed. The reason I ask is that in last nights game a character was resurrected between battles but we weren't sure if there long lasting spells would still be functioning.

I don't believe that an increase in caster level through feats or prc's which would grant higher caster levels would llow you to go other the maxime stated in the spell. I could be wrong but i can't remember seeing this ability any where.
