Looking at that eBay auction, the inside cover picture, is that a “badge” inset that says Gen Con 2024 dnd 50th? And the 4 for sale currently are by 2 sellers so I guess them and their significant other got a ticket to buy a book since it was 1 per person per day, and it’s day 1 of the Con.

Wow, did not realize it had been almost 7 months since my last post…..that went by fast. I bought a panel of stamps, the postcard set and the 50th anniversary poster….which I hope arrives in mountable shape :)

Since DragonLance is on the dmsguild, has Tracey, Laura or Margaret did like Ed with FR and create new things we could buy? Don’t need a novel contract to create new stuff that fans could purchase and many would think of as their version of Cannon like they do for Ed’s works on dmsguild.

I purchased them on Audible and must say, Paul Boehmer, does a fantastic job for his voices for all the characters. They did t lose much of that childhood nostalgia of awesomeness other than a few things I felt were framed by the game back then.

I did the bundle of physical and digital (master tier subscriber) so I’m looking forward to both dates I and our gaming group can look them over. I’ll check out the various reviews that will pop up on YouTube cause I’m guessing they all aren’t going to be be doom and gloom :) I’m looking...

I caught the progcore video on YouTube and was curious the first 4 minutes of the 8 minute video. I got side tracked and didn’t finish it but overall I was interested and set the reminder on Kickstarter. Hopefully it get closer to finding and gets over the edge but if/when it barely over 150k...

I’ve always liked using a DM screen, hiding notes, monster stats and minis behind it. I tend to roll about 75% for combat and other rolls in the open but the wandering monster roll and such keeps them guessing on why I’m rolling dice. Looking the layout, this design doesn’t appeal to me like...

That would be a big hit, 3000x$50 for $150000 for a 4 day weekend and all the travel costs. I wonder what wizards travel and con budget is, cause that would be a couple years worth in 1 weekend if they didn’t charge something…..good will or not.

Those 1e/2e stat blocks in adventures conveyed enough that even now if I re-read an old adventure from that era, I know what it means and could run the monster easily again.

Coming back to update as they are tentatively scheduled to release this month….and I just ended up buying a brick of 8 boxes for this set. I haven’t did that since around 2016ish for a brick. So I hope I don’t get a bunch of repeats but whatever I don’t get and still want, I’ll pick up off...

I hadn’t been paying attention to the mini based kickstarters but company looks like they do some nice minis and use that siocast method…any feedback from anyone on the detail and forgiveness of their minis?

The UK Royal Mail,site says it ships world wide, so I’ve got to pick up a sheet and frame it next to the US stamps!

Looks like the US stamps go on sale August 1st.
