    A new player to my game is asking. Apparently, since it's a conjuration it can float in mid-air. Does that mean it can be conjured in any location in the 3d space? Can it fly?     Thanks for the replies. I've thought about it, I'm leaning towards: 10% chance of an encounter in a hostile area, random "hour" (to see if they are rested or not), divide the total XP by surge# of the party member with least remaining. So if at least one member has 0 or 1 surges remaining, full XP.

    I think that may be the problem, party is resting too much. I feel a house rule coming on - Random encounters that occur while resting are worth 0 XP. That should keep them moving! :devil:

    The AV double weapons are the root of many problems; they're trying to do better with new ones I assume. Hopefully we'll see the ones in AV addressed in errata eventually... they could even print it in AV2 ! :D

    I disagree. A DM needs to know how to challenge his/her players, and then be responsible in using that knowledge. You don't screw them every time, but sometimes you do! :) There shouldn't be powers that are automatic "wins" for the player every time. Occasionally there needs to be a surprise...
