Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

And enchantments ridiculously long duration spells now improve that schools viability considerably.

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

Whats truky bizarre is that the argument against my "natural talent" limitation hinges on the beluef that if you dont get to play god at the table to everyone elses jobah... Well.. Youll just have to take your ball and go home. The natural talent limitation is an easy to implement, no frills...

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

Most combats are over in three or four rounds in the current paradigm... where wizards can conjure the heralds of the gods every other fight... and they can by level 20 hurl fireballs with impunity all day long. Of course, under that system, fights wouldn't last especially long. In the system...

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

This situation might be ideal for utilizing reserve Feats. Wizards would still have access to extremely powerful spells, making their round to round interactions less "spell" dependent and more lesser effect dependent. Think of it like this... Let's say we could numerically quantify the...

    Non-Asian Martial Artists?

Western Martial Arts are infinitely superior to Eastern Martial Arts.

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

You know, you're right. What was I thinking? Why would I think scrolls could ever be an integral part of the Wizard class? I mean its not like they, specifically, have the ability to scribe them at level one or anything. The developers clearly never suspected an idea like mine might come about.

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

Perhaps... eliminate spell progression entirely? You only gain spells based on high intellect, wisdom, and so forth... this would require wizards and sorcerers to become MUCH more dependent on scrolls, potions, wands, staves, rods, and so forth. Which actually sounds about right...

    Fochlucan Sage...

What if the Sage lost access to his familiar and animal compaion but gained a spirit guide in the same vein as a spirit shaman, allowing the fochlucan sage to cast his druid spells as though he were a spirit shaman, save that he is only dependent on wisdom for casting those druid spells.

    Reach Weapons - a thought...

Short haft I believe, in phb ii. Its pretty awesome for melee combatants.

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

Endlessly we debate about how overpowered spellcasters are vs. melee. Chop off the top two levels of spells (8th and 9th) for Wizards, Sorcs, Clerics and Druids 5th and 6th for Bards, 3rd and 4th for Pallies. Clerics and Druids would still be exceptionally powerful, however. To combat this...

    Fochlucan Sage...

The wisest method ive found is halved progression for casters. I.e. Lvl 5th or 6th spells being the highest castable.

Arcane Hierophant is off the table?

    Fochlucan Sage...

Ive been mulling it. It would require specialist diviner, language druidic, bardic knowledge, bardic music, trackless step, 1st lvl divine, 1 lvl arc. Prep. And the harmonious casting feat. You immediately and irrevocably lose any bardic spellcasting you previously had. Your bardic spells...

    Fochlucan Sage...

I belueve the druidic component and the bardic components are inextricable from the "theme" of the fochlucan. Keep in mind its still a bardic college and it seems unlijely the most learned folk (sages) wouldnt have access to the druidic language. Then again... Can you really give a class three...

    Fochlucan Sage...

Which is why it would be prudent to make the entry requirements... *difficult*. For example you might require the Fochlucan Sage to be a Diviner Focused Specialist, a "Swift and Deadly Hunter" variant Druid (loses Wildshape).

    PDF Eroticism

I own a lot of 3.5 books. Like a LOT of them. Unfortunately lugging around the masses of those books is a huge pain in the proverbial ass. Is it possible to collect all the various PDFs for the books and "splice them" together into a single handy reference PDF that includes all the races...

Speculative. I.e. Jedo Guardian vs. Jedi Counselor.
