    So, Wandavision?

in fact that wouldn't been a good confrontation between wanda and vision. But alas, they curtailed it with Agnes.

    So, Wandavision?

That's a given. My beef is they introduced one black character who is alleged to be a legend, very awesome, and we see her tenacity in earlier episodes, but when it comes to the final fight, she's just standing there like the rest of the townsfolk. Underwhelming. Granted, this is supposed to...

    So, Wandavision?

Saw it last night. Have thoughts, will babble. a) Unlike Stephen Strange, Wanda can multitask b) if she trapped Agnes in the Hex, what happened when the Hex shrinks and disappears c) I assume reVision abandoned his "destroy vision" programming once he got his memories unlocked d) Monica was...

    The Expanse

yes, but visually it sucked. For an audience or reader, you can get away with 3 repetitions before it gets repetitive. Especially if there's not much variance. All we saw was Naomi suit up, waddle down a hall, come back and cry. We had little context into what she was doing. So while...

    Dragon Magazine CD archive.

In my tech world, I have an adapter to mount ATA style drives, a USB CD-ROM and a USB 3.5" floppy drive. Just in case. And yes, each has been used because some old tech came around that needed the files off of. Not very often, but worth the $20 each cost me.

Which team will win Super Bowl LV?

I don't follow sports. So pretty much every year I wittily say the team with the most points. But it's 2021. If i had posted that this year, would I have been right?

    So, Wandavision?

that's the reminder I needed to connect Lagos, to the place. It was just a word and like the other commercials, it hooked to something.

    So, Wandavision?

What is Lagos? from the commercial.

    So, Wandavision?

Sparky died so Wanda would have to give that speech to the boys and you notice her pause/catch in her voice, have the words sink in to herself about what she's doing. She's not ready to change, but that was the seed being planted for her character growth moment.

    So, Wandavision?

the difference is, we like Wanda. Nobody likes Kraven the Hunter.

What do space empires fight over?

I'd had a though awhile ago, and saw a variant of it expressed in book 3 of the Expanse series. Distance is measured in Time. As in how long did it take to cross the Atlantic, or get to Santa Fe, or send troops to Mars. An empire is constrained by time. The speed of which they hear of trouble...

What do space empires fight over?

true. but then they didn't take up arms? Morrus is literally looking for reasons to fight, and "you need to stay here on this crap planet." seems like a good one.

What do space empires fight over?

that seems like a reason to fight. what is holding those people down on Tatooine that nobody's hauling in blocks of ice from elsewhere in the star system (or farther). How much could be hauled in to re-water the planet? Who is stopping that? Who is stopping Uncle Owen from packing up and...

What do space empires fight over?

certainly for anybody with spaceships capable of reasonable travel times to other stars. Then it's a quick trip to a gas giant's rings to nip off with a block of ice. Which kinda brings up the whole stupidity of moisture farmers on Tatooine. Why live on a desert planet farming water? Tree...
