Kobold Press Announces 'Cozy' RPG Riverbank

To be fair, it definitely doesn't have to be.

    General star wars talk/discussion/complaining

If memory serves the original continuity (Legends I think?) the ship was designed primarily by Ackbar himself. It's been a while since I watched Rebels but I think it was still a Mon Calamari designing it. I think what I really love is the gyroscopic stabilizer for the cockpit to keep the pilot...

Honestly, as much as the final space battle in Return in the Jedi (the only appearance of the ship in the original series) ruled and B-Wings were cool in them what really made him love them was the B-Wing expansion to the original X-Wing game. X-Wing series expansions are probably the reason...

D&D 5E (2024) Quotes from the Monster Manual

If it were a PG-13 movie they'd even get to slip in single F-...ornicate. A little excretion here or there isn't so far out of the ballpark

Finn is, to borrow a term from D20 Modern, the Charismatic Hero. Especially in TFA, but in TLJ also, his ability to get people to go along with his plan despite having absolutely no idea what he's actually doing and occasionally outright lying is his skill set.

Yeah that's the part that really got to me. I got a bit further but that's about the most of it I could do. I think I was maybe halfway through or so?

I will add though that I unfortunately never finished the second game, as playing it made me extremely queasy during any of the parkour stuff (which is a lot of it).

Yes the games are very good, though it is the second game (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor) that gives you such an excellent range of customization options for hair, facial hair, and clothing (in the first game all you can change is his ugly poncho). Dirtbag Cal Kestis is peak Cal. He even gets a goth...

D&D General It's Game Night! What's On the Table?

Although I guess... we don't actually play on a table... we're mostly splayed out across a massive couch

D&D General It's Game Night! What's On the Table?

I had a 5e game going that's been delayed significantly by The Schedule, but hopefully is back on track for this weekend. I'd also love to get a Mongoose Traveler game going at some point.

What Video Game RPG System Do You Want to See Adapted to Tabletop

Hatch eggs and, if I had to guess, bloom sentient plants, respectively. The thing is pedometer stuff kinda exists in video games to make time-based features that don't feel time-based because you actually have to do something active in them. As such, "clocks", as found in Blades in the Dark et...

What Video Game RPG System Do You Want to See Adapted to Tabletop

Oh man, I played the crap out of GW1 back in the day. It's wild the number of builds you can put together with what was essentially a fairly limited number of pieces. My particular niche was as a Necromancer/Ranger who sent my pet in to attack while I stood next to the Monk buffing the...

What Video Game RPG System Do You Want to See Adapted to Tabletop

Fair enough; than I'll toss in Fallout 4's community building system, which for once seemed to be as much if not more about what the PC can provide for those communities, moreso than what the PC can get out of it (which is why, I imagine, so many people hated it in video game form)
