D&D General Do you track ammunition?

Nope. Got out of that habit after playing Dragon Age Origins and realizing how much I liked not having to worry about it. The only ammunition we track is special ammo like Arrows of Dragon Slaying or exploding crossbow bolts.

Incidentally, that image is from Worlds Without Number. It's released for use in any commercial or personal project, just credit Ede Laszlo.

D&D 5E (2014) Feat, Magic Items, or Multiclassing? Which do you choose?

Yeah I can make do without Multiclassing and while there are some Feats I'm quite fond of they're not worth going through twenty levels with mundane equipment. Especially in any edition but 4th, since monsters are often resistant or immune to non-magical weapons.

Minor Magic for Martials sounds like fun & Knacks are a great way to do it

Level Up (A5E) I summon the knowledge of A5e players to answer Level Up Questions...

Right, I meant in terms of how up to date it was, not that it includes closed content.

Level Up (A5E) I summon the knowledge of A5e players to answer Level Up Questions...

It really is great. Not only is most of the content from a5e.tools already implemented in the base module, it also comes with stuff from MOAR and several other third party supplements in the compendium. So if you want to play a Goliath or Tabaxi or some other heritage not converted in official...

@Umbran The art really does look like Harris though. I don't think it's political to notice that?

Level Up (A5E) A5E First Impressions

Glad your table is having fun with this. I'd recommend not using Critical Success/Fumble tables with skill rolls. That's one of the most baffling inclusions in A5E. I take it you've only got one session in the can so far, so I'm interested in seeing how it progresses. Is Player C using the 5E...

Level Up (A5E) What would you do to simplify A5E and/or speed up combat?

Not to mention some Combat Traditions are heavy on reaction maneuvers and if anything could use more ways of getting extra reactions.

Level Up (A5E) What would you do to simplify A5E and/or speed up combat?

My limited experience with Fantasy Grounds was not positive (the program felt obtuse and the o5E game we used it for ended with a TPK at level 1) so I can't speak to how well it works with A5E compared to other VTTs. But in general previously mentioned ideas are solid. Eliminating dice...

Level Up (A5E) What would you do to simplify A5E and/or speed up combat?

Honestly moving the game to Foundry might be helpful? It has expertise dice built into the system and the system download comes with a huge chunk of what's on A5E tools and also a bunch of 3PP stuff built in.

    Level Up (A5E) Yuan ti

Yuan-Ti have always been specifically called out as Product Identity under the OGL and don't appear in the 5E SRD. Of course, WOTC doesn't own the idea of serpentfolk so you can have snake people and just call them anything you wish.

    D&D 5E (2014) MM 5.24 or the MM 5e (w/ MM Expanded, Bloodied & Bruised, Home-Field Advantage) ?

The best thing about the 2025 Monster Manual from a gameplay standpoint is that some of the new and revised monsters are legitimately cool. The Archhag, the Blob of Annihlation, the Haunting Revenant. I'm hit or miss on some of the redesigns. The Arcanaloth's entire damage budget is in a basic...

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

Oh, that's good at least. But, haha, I was always getting the PDF regardless. No way I can afford to drop $60 to $100 on a POD.

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

Well, thanks regardless. I'm sorry that clashing egos have resulted in so much frustration for everyone involved but I suppose that's the danger of big collaborations like this.

Question, If I purchase the currently-available version, are the older versions available for download?

    D&D 5E (2014) MM 5.24 or the MM 5e (w/ MM Expanded, Bloodied & Bruised, Home-Field Advantage) ?

I've not used home field advantage but Monster Manual Expanded series is just more monsters, it's not a replacement for the Monster Manual.
