Going to church? Don't forget your sawed-off shotgun!

PCs been paranoid before they've ever had a chance to be victimized kind of bothers me. Not enough to make a big deal out of it, but still somewhat jarring. With respect to the gun packing to church: You crazy americans and your guns! :p Believe me that if someone spotted you packing a gun...

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Chicago Ripper

Well, that is about all my contribution here. Just act the part. The young man adopts a pensive frown as he walks around the crime scene, getting close to each of his team for a short conference and then moving on. Mostly he justs acts as the boss, staring down anybody who tried to get to close...

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Chicago Ripper

In a cold tone and looking the officer straight in the eye, Larry introduces himself. "I'm Special Agent in Charge Higgins, from the FBI's Behavioral science Unit. We're hear to collaborate with the Chicago P.D., if you want to turn this into a turf war, we can do it. You'll loose." In a...

    Order of the Stick #407!

Finally the debate may cease. Miko lost her paladin powers (we don't know if she can atone or not yet). It takes time to die in the OoTS world (the Xs in the eyes finally appeared). Of course if the whole Belkar isn't evil argument taught us anything, is that people will argue anyways. :p

    OotS 406

There was only one summons. Roy dad couldn't return because he'd have toe xplain to the celestial host why he had tied up the true envoy (bob IIRC). The father and Shojo say it at some point after the trial.

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Chicago Ripper

Flashing his badge, Larry nods at the uniform. "Yes, we're the FBI. Let's go see your Lieutenant. On the way, you can answer some questions." Getting out of the car, Larry is still shaky from Cade's breakneck driving, although he hides it well enough. "Has time of death been established already?"

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Chicago Ripper

Larry had met some FBI agenst once. A Fed was one of those easy things to spot, once you knew what you were looking for. The badly concealed weapon, the shades, the uncool car. And the most important, that smooth tone of voice that shouted arrogance and competence, as if those weeks at Quantico...

Which class is the most useless?

nah, it seems he is angry that he can't use Sneak attack all the time. That's more a GM issue than a Rogue issue though. Personally, having 8+ skill points is the most awesome feature of the rogue, with the class skill list to pick the best skills out there.

"I'll go get it if you want, you're probably more useful staying here planning." With a smile to the Doc he adds. "I was actually thinking of using it as bait. You know, get these freaks to come to us for a change. Maybe we can get Diego a holy chair, so we can finally bring this guy down."

Which system for a Star Wars game?

Well, you need a criminal organization outside of Hutt Space, but to my mind an all pervasive crime syndicate of more than one planet seems too much of a stretch. I could see it more like the mafia, with the big families getting together to discuss, but without a super overlord. In my mind...
