Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I think you misunderstand. We DO plan/hope to make it PoD.

Since we had to get it approved by Matt Sernett (who is in charge of lore) makes believe that the intent was treat it as canon (and Ed also wanted to have a copy to keep up on what we did). That said, I note even official products have sometimes been ignored as far as canon goes, so you never know.

The story was approved by WOTC and the admins made as part of AL job, so canon. It is also AL legal.

Canon I just sent a copy on Tuesday to Mr. Greenwood (at his request) so he could make sure to remember what happens in it when he writes in the future.

I count s6 as May-June-July; aka 3 months with a lot of 7-1 and 7-2 running throughout August at cons (and seeing release at stores this month as well). For the Admins the time not spent on s6 remains spent on the extra long s7 season.

Season 6 was intentional short so the extra time could be added on to season 7 which lasts for about a year.

Its actually was because the s7 specifically mentions it happens at the same time as s5 and s6, though we did away with the dividing line since it seemed the over desire was for less story connections and more choice in what to play without the curse.

The Keep on the Borderlands 8 mini-mods and Epic bundle are a DDAO event with some special rules. While it premiered at GaryCon2017 it can run at any con where an Admin or WOTC staff member is present to help. It's run about a half dozen times so far I believe.
