    Wizards, nerfed or not?

Wizards have one advantage over the other controllers. They have access to double (and sometimes triple) the amount of Dailies and Utilities. This alone makes them dangerous and a force to be reckoned with...

Took out Astral Strike, just too powerful.

    D&D 4E 4e Race-Nephilim

Fixed Astral Heritage a bit, and rewrote Angelic Protection. I hope that's a bit better.

    Avians, a winged race

A very nicely balanced race! I stole two things from you flat out for my Nephilim race, I hope you don't mind. It looks very balanced to me...

    NPC Companions House Rule (Rough)

That makes sense, but I'd still like a little more bang for my buck when I start burning feats that like that. How about a paragon level feat that lets you and your honored companion both attack with a basic melee/ranged attack using a standard action. Or At-Will? Hhhhhmm..

    Don't hate me...my 4th Edition Psion ver1.0

Hhhhmm.... a few of the level 1 encounter powers look like utilities. Is that just me?

    NPC Companions House Rule (Rough)

I like it alot! What's the problem with using a class that's not martial? Wizard and warlock both have at will powers that are basic ranged attacks. You could add that if you want a power for the companion that isn't a basic attack you have to give up a power yourself in order to give that to...

    NPC Companions House Rule (Rough)

Just use the standard array in the Player's Handbook.

    NPC Companions House Rule (Rough)

Not quite sure yet. I'll take a look at the Martial Power Sourcebook or the DM's guide for generating NPC's and use those. Numbers will come out soon.

    NPC Companions House Rule (Rough)

A little while ago one of my characters picked up a lover in-game. He asked me if I could bring her into combat, and I said no, I wasn't in the mood to add yet ANOTHER person I'd have to keep track of in-game. But, after a little bit of thinking, I came up with this house rule. It's based on the...

    Mapping, tiles, boards, dungeons, cities

As much sense as you're making, I can't agree for one reason: I destroy things by looking at them. I'm surprised that the computer screen I'm looking at right now hasn't burst into flames. I don't think I'd be able to put up with paper tiles.

    And Things Didn't Work Out...

Hhhmm... I like the idea of Delcax finding him, as well as the idea that the vampires are still looking for Ameril. I think I'll have the vampires hire some privateers to attack the ship Ameril's on. They'll sink the ship and Ameril will be put even further off course by it. He'll run into...

    And Things Didn't Work Out...

I'm running a 2-man campaign with one of my friends, and did we just have a doozy today. We're running a 4e Forgotten Realms game, 11th level. The characters: Ameril: A genasi swordmage. He's the king of Aglarond, and just sent staved off a vampiric assassination. Po Po: An insane drow rogue...

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

I like multiclassing just as it is. Fluff wise it makes sense. Whenever you start learning something different you don't just pick up the ability to do everything right away, and even then it takes further effort. I realize what everyone here is saying, but given what you can get with paragon...

DND 4E Is different! (Why is that bad?)

Why not change? Frankly, I don't know. Multiple attacks per round didn't solve anything for high level play, the monsters were unbalanced, and nothing worked as it was written in 3.5. 4th works AS written, all the time, every time. Why not change? I honestly don't know.

    Dragon 370 - Invoker Preview

Aaaah... I love house rules. I think I'll edit a few of the wizard at wills to make them more controller-ish. Adding more targets for some powers, tacking on some additional effects, etc.

    Dragon 370 - Invoker Preview

I think Invoker's gonna be one of those classes that looks kinda bland in theory, and then awesome when used in-game. Combining any of these powers with the covenants makes for some very interesting and unique powers. Overall, I think the class is at least an 8 out of 10, and that's before we...

Developing a One-on-One Campaign (stay away SkyOdin)

Actually 4th does very well with one player combat. Just look up the XP totals in the DMG for one monster, and use a LOT of minions. Give that one guy alot of buffs for a solo fight, and you're good to go. I'm not knocking what you've done, but it is an idea..
