Since the default method is choose Race and Class first then do Stats, I chose 4d6 drop Lowest and arrange to suit. Preferred method? 3d6 six times, in order. Play Race and Class my Abilities would be best suited for.

My only quibble is with armor. Padded Armor must be made from Corduroy to impose Disadvantage on Stealth Checks. Every time you take a step VVVVIP VVVIP VVVVIP! I guess it is hard to sneak around when you have all that friction generated. Must be a hold over from the late 70s and early 80s...

Hopefully your players have learned from their previous stupidity. If they keep making bad decisions or rushing head long into fights they should be better prepared for, death is the only logical outcome. Don't hold their hands, let them learn from their mistakes.

If you poke a dragon in the eye, you deserve to get wasted... That's not what you call a "smart move". Especially at 3rd level... Still, any game without risk isn't much fun IMHO. Let the players learn from bad decisions.

Nentir Vale was the only thing I liked that came out of the 4e era. I was really disheartened when they canceled the setting book... Monsters of Nentir Vale was an awesome book.

Feats are also completely optional as well. Your DM might not even allow them. What is great is that the game can be completely played entirely without feats and it wont be a detriment to the game. In some games, feats might over power things and would cause problems. I'm very happy that...

hehe That is even better. The group I pulled this on, everyone thought I said "White Dwarfs"... They were in for a bit of a shock when they realized I said "Wight Dwarfs".
