How do you feel about nudity in RPG books?

What idea are we talking about? The idea is maybe more important then the nudity itself. I'm kind of liberal, so I think I would be OK with it, but I am OK with a lot of things so you know. The other half everyone else already told you. It's generally not OK for the good majority of people and...

    Xp Problem

Well if you give them the EXP, then that encourages them to do it again, so that is kind of your answer there. If you want to reward the player, then give them the full EXP I mean why not. (It might make them out of balanced in treasure VS level though.) You could give them maybe a lump sum...

    D&D 5E (2014) narrative tools

The villain because spewing out guidance and/or exposition just makes my player hate and what to kill the character, so you know two birds.

D&D 5E (2014) The Bard's Combat Inspiration is Messed Up

Just let them use it anytime after the attack is made. I don't think it really hurts to do it that way?

D&D 5E (2014) Dwellings and magic item crafting as class features

Well you could let the ability work at both player estates. Actually you can get really flexible and allow the player to apply the bonus to any place they can decorate. You know throw up a few tapestries and candles and you can make that dungeon just like home. Then your actual home is well just...

D&D 5E (2014) Dwellings and magic item crafting as class features

If your worried about PC houses being useless because your adventures are set far away. Well don't set your adventures far away. You know have the bad people come to them, or set a dungeon up close to your PC's homes. PC layer actions. That should be a thing. One thought is that you could just...

    D&D 5E (2014) Barter / Sell Treasure Items

It's not for everyone. It doesn't have to be a few GP though. It could be a lot of GP and XP for a successful haggle. Like nothing says that adventuring has to pay more then marketing. Other then the DM that is.

    D&D 5E (2014) Barter / Sell Treasure Items

The simple way is to just say they get half price or full price for whatever they are selling, but I think you want to do things more complicated. :) When it comes to complex systems, you are more or less OK so long as players are making choices they care about. So make it optional for one...

    D&D 5E (2014) The Adventurer's Handbook Speculation Thread

I think it's how it just makes some challenges almost trivial. You know melee monsters, walls, pits, other stuff.

    D&D 5E (2014) BREAKING 5th Edition!

I kind of think that DMs should be asking this question. Like I want to know if adding in hide and move silently will brake the balance, or if one extra feat is really that powerful.

D&D 5E (2014) Thieves Tools: Disarm magic traps?

Double dipping isn't a big deal at all. It's the same bonus no matter how many times you are proficient in the task. A DM can judge the task anyway they want, but I think you want to let thieves tools count on basically all traps because that will conform to the players expectations. For my...

    D&D 5E (2014) Skill Challenges in 5e?

Is it possible for someone to post an example of a good skill challange?

    D&D 5E (2014) Skill Challenges in 5e?

I think the best way to do a skill challenge might be to take a in world challenge and try to expand it out to be complex rather then trying to graph a system on it. Like take a locked chest. Add 3 more locks to unlocks on different sides. Then maybe a magic ward that shocks you if you brake it...

    D&D 5E (2014) Skill Challenges in 5e?

I liked the idea of skill challenges. I just didn't like the execution (I also didn't stick with 4ed long enough to see if they really fixed that.) I would like to see another stab at them in 5ed. I wouldn't want to carry over the x successes vs y fails disconnect thing though.

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

I experimented with making knowledge checks predictive. That is a player would say what they wanted something to be and then they would make a roll, If they passed they were right, if they failed, they were wrong. It didn't fit what they were expecting and in the end just confused them.

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

I am kind of imagining my idea kind of working like a game a 20 questions. Lets say a player comes across a dead body. There first question might be "How did they die?" "They are missing their brain." "How dose someone lose their brain?" "It looks as though it was pulled out through a hole in...

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

So it's just not explicit anymore. I think most DMs would see a proficiency in arcane would apply to knowing information about magically made creatures like a golem. At least I would.

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

There not in this version? Did I imagine them then? What is the arcane proficiency for if it's not a knowledge skill?

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

My worry is that makes the skill even more random. (and more labor intensive for the DM.) My thinking is wouldn't it be easier if players could be more direct and ask dose my character know what a golem eats, or dose my character know what spells would be good to cast?

    D&D 5E (2014) Knowlage checks

The world building thing taxing. Though my main problem is the skill is very random on how well it works. Your throwing out a check and hoping you get something useful back from it, but you could get anything. With something like an attack roll you kind of have a good idea what can happen. You...
