I believe we are talking the 12th of May. I should be good for a long session that day, but I will leave the time frame up to Vince, since I am assuming we will meet at his house (?). For my adventure I just want to make sure that all of your characters bring an extra pair of pants.

And, as a side note, due to Vince's busy schedule (and if I am remembering my last conversation with him correctly) I will run the next game (or two). I hope this is okay for everyone.

Yes, I've been thinking abou that aspect of the game too. Something should indicate that when a blow is parried, it is parried and that no damage gets through. The flip side of this is that when a blow does get through, your character should be hurting.

Now that I think about it, I think defending with my staff would be more interesting. Sort of an impenetrable whirring of my staff that no one can break through....

That sounds pretty cool. I could see my character gaining that later on. He needs defense, but has no interest in armor. I gotta say, though, that I love being a badass with the staff. I wonder how many staff masters there are around! I might have to start my own school or something. Part...

Yes, I've noticed that. Maybe we need to think of a different way to assemble ourselves so that you aren't taking the brunt of everything...

I won't be making it. I really do have lots to do, and with kids there is only a small window of opportunity. I hate to do it, but them's the breaks! I am enjoying Olan and the gang. We'll get going steadily again soon...

Well... I will think about it. Something has to go. Whether it is RPG or board games, at least for a while.
