The New 4th Edition God-Killing Rules

One thing that I think people should keep in mind when going around and around about whether or not PC's can kill a god is to remember that by the time that the PC's are looking in the gods direction, most of the time they are no longer mortal themselves. See, 4th ed. introduced Epic Destinies...

DDI Subscribers: Are you satisfied with your subscription?

Extremely satisfied. I just subsribed today actually (year sub), and the content is awesome (Masters of the Planes ftw). If this is what I have to look forward to on a regular basis, then color me impressed. Only caveat, I want deity stats with my deity fluff....;)

Next Deities & Demigods (now with poll!)

Kinda hard to tell from that angle and considering that she is mucked up, but I dig the purple eyes and pale goth look; always how I saw her in my head at least (if a bit more regal). Nice throne as well.

Next Deities & Demigods (now with poll!)

Actually knowing what you are talking about before voting would probably serve you well; there was no stats in the article, "merely" lots of great fluff and backstory on the deity, including aspects, followers, and (I think) a paragon path or feat. The more you know...

4th Ed. Underdark adventure setting book "announced"

Nothing earthshattering; tidbits include: -Demogorgon will have his surrounding monsters detailed, similar to what they did with Orcus in the first MM. -Rust Monster is definately in MM2. -MM2 will contain variants of existing monsters, but variants that are worth including, not just stuff you...

4th Ed. Underdark adventure setting book "announced"

No, not The Plane Below. At the NYCC someone asked the WotC board if there would be an advenure book based on the underdark similar to The Planes Below, and they said yes.

4th Ed. Underdark adventure setting book "announced"

http://www.critical-hits.com/2009/02/08/dungeons-dragons-at-new-york-comic-con-09/ Im suprised that nobody has made a thread concerning this yet...or maybe it doesent deserve one? Whatever, im making it anyway. Personally im excited about it. Considering that the core world has not been...

Dude, holy crap thats awesome. Can't wait to read this.

Next Deities & Demigods (now with poll!)

I vote for The Raven Queen, and following her, probably Torog and Asmodeus. Also, while im at it, I would also like to say that I'd like to see the deities actual stats along with all of that juicy fluff. I know people say that they'd be too strong, blah blah, but let me decide that as a DM...

    Planar Epic Destinies not up?

Thanks! I assume that CB is the Character Builder? It's well done then? Also, I know that the thread isnt for this, but while im talking about Insider itself, I assume you can download everything (Dragon and Dungeon) in PDF form for easy access on your computer, correct?

    Planar Epic Destinies not up?

And yet another awesome ED. Damn, they seem to be on a roll here. We can only hope that the ones in the PH2 are as good as these are (granted I havent read them yet, but they sound great). I personally really enjoyed they ED's in the Martial Handbook as well. Thanks for the info!

4th Edition and the Immortals Handbook

Hey UK! Vecna: I think he has his 1 standard action per round, he just starts with 4 action points instead of 2 like usual...is that what you wanted to know? Also, yes, he has the Necrotic Webs ability to make permanent (until end of encounter) 3' by 3' zones that are treated as difficult...

4th Edition and the Immortals Handbook

I really really enjoy this book; I highly recommend it. One of the things that I like are that there are a lot of high level encounters. As far as Vecna's concerned, some highlights include: he starts with 4 action points, has an aura 10 that does 50 damage (!) to living creatures, and heals...

4th Edition and the Immortals Handbook

Hey U.K :) First time posting here. I just wanted to know what you thought of Vecna's stats? I was surprised by the four action points myself. Anyways, cant wait to see what you cook up for 4th Ed.

Will the MM2 have more than monsters...Forked from "advice to anyone still ..."

I for one enjoyed (and still enjoy) the first MM, but I think that it could use a bit more fluff for the monsters. Im not saying they ought to harken back to the 2ed days of complete ecologies, histories, etc, but a little more fluff might go a long way. As a side note, anyone want to hazard...

How much money do plan on purchasing 4E/GSL products this year?

Count me as agreed. I thought that the poll was pretty self-explainatory.
