How much money do plan on purchasing 4E/GSL products this year?

I voted in the $300-$500 range, but in all honesty, I'll probably go over $500. I tend to buy all of the source books.

    My 4E Wishlist

WoooHoooo! More planar goodness! I loves it. I guess since Demogorgon is confirmed for MM2, and we already have Orcus and Grazz't, we might be seeing one or two of the other lords, such as Pazuzu, Zuggtmoy, or Fraz-Urb'luu? Or perhaps a deity such as Lolth, or Tharizdun:eek: ? Anyways, good to...

    My 4E Wishlist

Monster Manual 2 wishlist: Peryton Jabberwocky Dragon Turtle Djinn Marids Modrons Deepspawn Other books I'd love to see: Book of Fey Bood of Aberrations Manual of the Planes 2: Feywild Manual of the Planes 3: Shadowfell (good idea Nymrohd) There are others, but those would do for now...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

    Cool, thanks.

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Yeah, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Rorn is awesome. He just is. Personally, he's one of the best things to come out of the FRCG, which suprised the hell out of me. I'll go so far as to say that he is my fav solo thus far (even eclipsing Tiamat, although she is well done too, and...

Open grave Excerpt: Demilich (and other lich lore)

I too am suprised by the lvl of the Demilich, but as questing gm said, that's some pretty mean damage potential he's got. I wonder what level Acerack (sp?) is. Also figured it would be smarter, but whatever...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Massively unappealing as in it sucks they copied the Beholder? Or something else? Sorry if this is a blatently obvious answer...I've had a few drinks :o

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Dude, thats really funny, with the wizard casting resist fire b/c of the mini's color. :p My problem is not so much with the giants as it is with thier big brothers, the titans. I expect more from a titan than a slightly higher level and maybe 1 extra attack or ability. IMO titans should be...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

NP :) What's cool about Rorn is that if the DM really uses his abilities smartly, he can totally control the battlefield, what with his aura, the Earthchains ability, and his movement abilities (climbing, earthwalk, phasing through earth and lava). Set up right, he can be a real challenge...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Yeah, I think it's safe to say that the Purple Worm could have benefited from some area attacks and/or minor actions to make the fight more dynamic. One monster that I think was well done and would be remiss not to mention is Blazing Rorn the Fury. I think he's one of the best solos yet (up...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

They have very, very few abilities for a monster of thier hp total, which means essentially its going to turn into a very long, boring grindfest really quick. Solo's (and some elites) are in danger of this anyway because of high hp totals, but the problem really rears its ugly head when the...

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Yeah, the purple wurm is among the most poorly designed of the monsters imo. Tiamat is extremely well done, with plenty of abilitlies to keep the fight interesting.

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Oh, I absolutely agree! The different orcs, kobolds, efreets, and all are great. I just wish they would have spruced up some of the more iconic ones a bit (although not all; like I said there are many that are well done, the Pit Fiend was just one example).

Best and worst of 4th Ed. Monsters

Which monsters do you think translated over to 4 th Ed. the best? For instance, I think that the Pit Fiend was done pretty well. It has its fear aura, fire aura, sumoning abilities, displays mastery over other devils and has a fireball type ability with its Irresistable Command, and can act...

Ampersand column confirms Sigil for DMG2

But, seeing as how Sigil is much, much larger than Fallcrest, and one of the most famous of all cities out of any setting or edition, one can hope that they will dedicate a sizeable portion of the book to it (hopefully at least a complete chapter). Only thing that concerns me is that this...

Ampersand column confirms Sigil for DMG2

Yeah 5 pages is very for a place like Sigil. Im really hoping that we see some serious page space dedicated to it in DMG2 (hopefully along with some key personalities stated out...excluding the Lady of course).

Ampersand column confirms Sigil for DMG2

Hmmmm, this is curious, seeing as how they have what, 5 pages or so on Sigil in MotP (albeit not very detailed). I take it that this means we get some pretty serious book space dedicated to it, similar to Union in the ELH last edition (though hopefully even more detailed...I loves me some...

Shemeska, what do you think of the 4e MotP?

I miss this aspect alot in the 4th Ed. cosmology. As a side note Shemeska, have you seen my thread on blending cosmology's? I'd be interested in hearing your take on it or any advice you could give. And I'd also like to know what type of cosmology Pathfinder uses. Although im running 4th...

    Help with blending of cosmologies

Yes, this is what im asking. Both could work, but im wondering if putting, say, Olympus, in the Astral Sea (and thus, being it's own seperate demiplane) would diminish the importance of the great wheel (because I fully intend on keeping belief a powerfull source of change and potential within my...
