    [DRAGON #305] F-bomb dropped, Doc M fascinated.

When the work warrants it Including such language in Dragon wasn't a trivial decision, but I feel very strongly that authors and editors alike should have the option to include such language when the work warrants it. The tricky part, of course, is the phrase "when the work warrants it," and...

    Dragon Mag Question.

Dragon Response Time It normally takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get a reply. Because we've had a staff member out of the office for extended medical leave, we're way, way behind even that slow mark right now. To those affected by the delay, all I can say is please continue to be patient--we'll get...

    Dragon #304 release

Ashy, I think they've gone out, but the person who handles the contributor copies is out today, so I can't be sure. Shoot me an email on Monday and I'll double check for you.

[Dragon] My Weapon just got magical!

Magic Item Variant In one of our in-house playtests, I use a variant treasure system where players rarely get monetary treasure or a chance to loot their downed foes. Instead, the equipment that the characters use frequently goes up in power. Most of the time I identify the item, give the...

    [Dragon]I actually liked #304

Half-dragon. That's enough of that rumor mongering Noah. :D And Psion said: I typed about seven funny responses to this, but I don't post often enough to be sure that you folks would understand that I'm just joking around. Still, it seems a shame to let this pass without comment... :)

"A Song of Ice and Fire" in May issue of Dragon...

Issue #307 will have an overview of the setting, a close look at some of the most important characters, a close look at King's Landing and the ice wall in the north, a few Westeros monsters, and an interview with George R.R. Martin. We'll also include some advice on playing in a low-magic...

    Pathfinder 1E [Dragon][Dungeon][Paizo] Submission Guidelines

Guidelines It's on the Dragon page, below the row of buttons. I don't doubt that it should be more prominent, but our newly hired webmaster is busy with other stuff right now. The old ones are still valid, but you'll get a slightly (and I mean very slightly) faster response if you use the...

    Dragon #303 Contents

Dragon OGC The Prestige Races article is Dragon's first OGC. Prestige races first appeared in Oathbound, and the article in Dragon presents a completely OGC version of the idea.

    Dragon #302

Dragon 302 Dragon 302 should be in stores for another week or so at least. Most hobby game shops keep the issues on sale even longer than a month, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. If you can't find it, send an email to backissues@paizo.com.

[Dragon/Dungeon] Help! I'm no longer receiving my magazines

We're trying to fix this problem as quickly as possible. Unfortunatley, I don't have a solution to offer you right now, but you should get in touch with Paizo directly. I'll get Johnny to drop by on Monday to give more details.

    Dragon #303 Contents

That's good to hear. As to the regulars that took a month off, "Soapbox," "Elminster's Guide," and LGJ are all back in issue #304. We like to skip a month every now and then with our regular columns, allowing us to give the authors time off, run more feature articles, and so on.

My turn to rant on Dragon

I'm likely to come off as unsympathetic here, which isn't really my intent, but I'm a bit stunned by this complaint. These promotions are designed to get new business. However, no one is excluded from this offer. Even if you have a long-term subscription, if you subscribe or renew now, you can...

    Dragon #301: Contents

Sorry Folks, the fey got bumped to #304. I never like it that articles sometimes get previewed and then jump to a later issue, but I'm sure you like it even less. We'll make sure the previews are more accurate from here on out.
