    D&D 4E 4e Character XML Schema

Your reference implementation is great! The only problem is that it only works on MacOS. Ideally we should try to get a reference implementation in a system agnostic format, something working for Linux and Windows too, like a web application. I'm going to try to make something like that...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

Hi Hive ! Blackrat, here in France, or in Spain, we call them neither slices nor pieces but dice. Rhubarb dice :)

Where did my options go? - The New Paradigm

After having read the three books and having tried several combat encounters, I find 4E very DMs friendly. The most time consuming activity for a 3e DM is encounter design, it's difficult to design an adventure fast. I've only tried a few encounters, so I can generalize, but 4e seems to have...

Is 4E still D&D to you?

Of course it's D&D, as 3.5e was, as 3.0e was, as 2e was. D&D has changed over the years, as we have changed, as world has changed. But it is still D&D.

Wizards: We want Class Power decks

I want to say you a big thanks ! Last Saturday, after having read once the PHB, I decided that if I was going to game D&D4 I needed a quick reference mechanism for all those powers, ideally cards. So I came to EN World and I saw that thread, and your cards. And it was just what I looked for...

    Smudges - All Core books

My books are fine :) I received them last Friday. PHB was a bit wavy, but after a reading intensive weekend, pages seem to have flattened, and everything is o.k. I had no problem with DMG or MM. According to people in a French RPG forum I read, it seems that most books arrived here with wavy...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

I guess that the difference is in the eye of the beholder ;) I really liked the DMG, I found it full of good advice, superb for new DM, with sections on creating worlds and campaigns... A really good book for me...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

I've spent my weekend reading my shiny new D&D 4e books, so that kept me from reading about it here :D In fact, I still wonder why somebody feels compelled to posts threads like that [î]4e is NOT v3.75e[/i] one. It is not trolling, they seem to NEED to say that they feel wronged. Sigh...
