Spells that get rid of Nauseated state.

I think "Panacea" does so, and its the only one that does. Going from memory I believe its a 3rd level divine spell. Cant remember whivh book it first apeard in, but its in the spell compendim iirc. I did quite well with re-asurgence or whatever its called, allows a second save on certain...

    Problem with Voidmind Wartroll

hehe. Ive just re-read my game notes. These note are based on my own toon and I was the rogue. similar situation, though by the look of the notes these were void-minded fire trolls. It seems our gm ruled that the CDG worked because it diddnt actualy cause damage, but forced a save or die. Im...

    Problem with Voidmind Wartroll

Fair enough, I was under the impresion that sneak attack damage bypased regen (if you managed to damage it). Still, wouldnt the damage that gets through possibly be enough to force a masive damage save? - i guess not, its subdual int it? That could just be a house rule of ours though. I do...

    Problem with Voidmind Wartroll

Im pretty sure a coop de dracy will solve the problem, 'specialy with a punch dagger or other high x crit. Very few things should survive a CDG from a rogue of the levels your talking about, there may even be two saves to make, CDG and masive damage.

    Bloodline Rules in your Game?

Our Gm is a RAW kinda guy, but theres rules and then theres rules letting a 6 foot fighter hit people with a telegraph pole... One quick balance solution I have been toying with this week, would be letting the bloodline pc buy off the level adjustment with his 6th 9th and 12th level feats...

    Bloodline Rules in your Game?

I tried the Titan major bloodline on a character (fighter/ paladin) started at 1st and adventured through to 17th (shackled city). I made some bad choices dureing his career ill be the first to admit, but the loss of three character levels seemed to be the bigest mistake I made. I lost 3 hit...

    Encouraging Elven Player Characters

I can easily trace back any Elf hate in my group to Shadowrun, theres only so many times you can be bent over a barrel... Most of us came to DnD via MERP so elves were always cool for us, and I tend to run elves on the Tolkien template. The DnD elf is obviously based on tolkiens ideas but seems...

Help me find a very specific weapon !

I vaguely remember a sword like that, and lightsaber isnt far from the mark. IIRC it had an energy sword (force sword?) type name and the potential to ignore armour. No Idea which book its in but it definately exists somwhere in there.

Has there ever been rules forbidding ranged attacks during Rage?

Anyone who has had stuff thrown at them dureing an argument with their partner has absolute proof you can use missile weapons dureing rage.

    Why aren't potions labeled?

A dodgy thief of mine used to label his potions in brail so he could reliably use them in the dark. He would also Label certain ingested poisons as Heals or buffs just in case the worst happened while he was scouting, no point makeing an encounter harder if the meat-bags are comeing to rescue...

    Need Ridiculous Monster

I always liked the idea of a gelatenous cube - Mummy. I imagine it looking like a stock cube with a bandage wrapper. Listen check please... "you hear a hollow 'plunk plunk plunk' of something comeing down the corridor towards the party, the sound oddly reminds you of someone rolling dice." I...

    Basic Continual Flame Question

Just thought id add... My Pelorian Paladin had this cast on the golden holy symbol on his helm (it cost a fair bit, but was definately worth it). Dureing the course of his life he had it cast on most of his weapons, the Continual flame arrows were particularly useful. I should also note, a...

Put a spell in a weapon

I would agree that grater dispell would be better, but it wasnt an option for me (3rd level spell storeing cold iron long sword). I considered lightening bolt and shocking grasp and similar damageing spells, but it was the bad guys magical defences that my fighter/ pally couldnt tolerate. The...

Put a spell in a weapon

I almost always chose Dispell, cant think of anything id rather have in there. I was a paladin though, and magical defenses anoyed him to an unreasonable degree. Held action to dispell with extreme prejudice, Holy smiteing dispell batman...

    Decanter of Endless Water

I thought Id throw this into the mix... When GM'ing I rarely allow creation/ destruction of matter or energy, I justify these affects as either transformations or "summons". Dureing one campaign my players (haveing lead the survivors of several villages who, due to various player actions, had...

    Who's best in this scenario?

Bard, and mesmerise song when they come to check your cries of "ive found a secret door"... or a particularly nasty rogue/ guild rogue/ assassin of mine who would happly sell his mate's out for freedom (and then go on a rather vindictive vengence spree for being captured and tortured -...
