Realisitically, neither a potion nor a berry would be a good idea, more likely leading to aspiration and suffocation than to healing. Given that potions are specifically allowed, however, and for the sake of the game, I'd say yes.

I think each character (PC or NPC) should have a 'voice'. And if that 'voice' just happens to sound exactly like mine, when I'm the DM and kind of tired, well that's just a complete coincidence.
