    D&D 5E (2014) Unfortunate Wording

Does anyone have a page number/book for that 'lose 1 point of con' rule when creating magic items? I can't remember it, and I can't locate it in my 2e books.

From the cursory glance I have given this, you wouldn't need to change anything with this. Just print out and attach to card stock. http://www.dragonsfoot.org/files/pdf/DMSCREENv1_1.pdf

OSRIC is awesome. The only downside is that the charts vary somewhat from the original AD&D rules/charts.

Unfortunately it is not in print anymore. It's possible to get them on Ebay for a good price as you're in the States. If you're not already, jump on Dragonsfoot Forums. It's a great forum for pre-2000 gaming. There are a load of free resources on the main website too. My user name is the same on...

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D 5th edition

Good choice. I don't think you'll regret it. It wouldn't surprise me if the Starter Set adventure becomes a classic one day. Regarding 1e conversion, you can use the 1e MM books, as a lot of the creatures like Goblins, Hobgoblins, Bugbears, etc are present. Start 1e characters, and supplement...

D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape (formerly known as Morningstar)

Yeah, you're right. Well at least that means I can use it on my laptop :)

D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape (formerly known as Morningstar)

I think you're misunderstanding what's been written. I'm not complaining that it's a Mac vs Windows thing, I'm just saying it would be nice. And I certainly don't feel 'like a second-class citizen'. There are plenty of services that only work on Windows, and I was acutely aware of that when I...

    D&D 3.x Where are the 4e and 3e resources?

It is odd that the links were removed. Especially if it's now being sold on classics.

D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape (formerly known as Morningstar)

That would certainly make more sense :) Yes, 6.64% is still a sizeable portion of the computer market (or user-base) who would not have access to the application. I would love to see it ported to OSX, although I realise if that is not a commercially viable option. Maybe I'll have to buy an...

Yeah, it's really not that big of a deal.

What? This whole discussion has been about an app, so yes...I mean app.

D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape (formerly known as Morningstar)

Definitely OS X please. I don't own any windows-based products. That's a big slice of the market not to include. I'd love to run it off my macbook pro. ;)

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e...too safe?

The simplicity is a welcome reprieve from Pathfinder.

    D&D 5E (2014) Unfortunate Wording

Wow, I had never noticed that. It says they can read the spell, and based on the context in which it is written, it would appear that by read it means cast. Thanks for pointing that out. Presumably that's a carry over from OD&D?

    D&D 5E (2014) Amazon, Minor Fail

It's good to know that irrespective of countries, the postal service is always the same.

Oh, see I am of the undead variety which is why I went with free shipping. But it also explains why mine hasn't shipped yet ;)

    D&D 5E (2014) Amazon, Minor Fail

That's interesting, I ordered the premium reprints of AD&D recently and I noticed a similar thing. I hope my 5e PHB won't have that. I ordered mine from Amazon, and pre-ordered months ago, but according to the website it still hasn't even been shipped :erm:

    D&D 5E (2014) Official errata/clarifications for 5e?

That's a good question - I've seen nothing official yet. I think like Shiroiken said, the brevity of the rules means that errata is not as crucial as say 3rd edition.
