Dragon's 35th Birthday, which one is your favorite?

I really liked issue 100. The cover really blew me away at the time. The Greyhawk story by Gary and the cool 3 level chess article. I still pull it out every couple of years to give it a read.

The Traveling Circus (aka Truly Peculiar Campaign Themes)

I think it would be a bit more fun if you had it based on something like the Red Boat Opera Company from Chinese history. A group of spies and assassins who travel around under the disguise of an Opera troupe. You would still have the Carnival feel with a bit more crunch to the story.

What D&D monster has changed the most over the years?

Piercer's have changed a great deal. The change to Darkmantle made them more than just a one shot gimmick.

    Post your Pantheon

In my game the God/Gods were blocked from World when the Angels fought amongst themselves over the Book of Creation and scattered it upon the land. Runic magic is the basis for all magic in the land, although rumor's of a mysterious group using spoken word's to use magic is said to be trying to...

    D&D 4E 4e Fisticuffs?

The other night I used the Jester's barroom brawl powers (link above) in my game. It had to be one of the funnest encounter's I've ran in a long time. All the player's had a blast and talked about it all night. I highly recommend this to anyone doing a pub fight.

    Your dream dungeon...

I always wanted to run an adventure based on the Blue Temple Vault in the Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen. So much going on there that would be great to run. *SPOILER* The first level rotates so the maze of tunnels only line up to enter at certain times of the day. An illusionary forest that...

What are the greatest published adventures you've run?

The Slaver's Series was my favorite, followed closely by Desert of Desolation. Another I really liked and still steal from today is Egg of the Phoenix.

Running a homebrew campaign is HARD

It helps if you can get your player's to do some of the work for you. I let player's flesh out area's of the world for bonus XP. As far as the work goes I've found that re-fluffing has been a great time saver for me. Pick a monster with cool power's, re-fluff, and you have a hundred other...

What does your ENWorld name mean?

It was the name I used the first time I played Halo 2 with my friends (it seemed appropriate). I've used it pretty much for everything since.

Why DMs Don't Like Magic Marts

The real reason DM's don't like magic marts is that the kind of person who would run one is the most slimy, degenerate piece of filth that you can imagine. DM's, being the paragon's of virtue that we are, would become tainted trying to roleplay these foul being's and try to avoid them at all cost.
