5 out of 5 rating for War of the Burning Sky: The Complete Campaign
If you play 3.5 as we do, and need an adventure path to entertain your group for the next year(s) seek no further. The adventure path is both fun, deep, surprising, epic and challenging. It is worth getting and playing. Be...
That makes sense in my head as it is what Pilus would do to ensure that no one ever again got to have the power Ragesia had - himself excluded in that equation naturally. The way chapter 11 plays out unfortunately has him making his move before reaching said aftermath and thus it feels a little...
Yeah, Galion was around from adventure 1. All the players have died at least once, and been brought back more or less - but when Galion gave up his soul to get the black scimitar he lost that possibility. But the scene with his soul hanging in the balance and the look on Shaith's face as he...
Her death had the right effect for my group as the Colossus fight was not really to their taste, so they got a chance to end it in a way they preferred. That means that in my group her presence and powers was a very good thing.
Some of the things we like to fiddle with once in a while are how...
Wow... has it really been 6 months since my last update here? Sorry... I have been pretty busy with real life and these updates do take a lot of time to write... well enough with excuses for now.
Since my last update we have actually played a bit further on - the update below is the last part...
I didn't change any of the names in the setting - although at times it is hard, especially for my players, to say the names correctly - even after I spelled it for them. That siad, we just go with the flow, as we all know what we mean.

The 9 nobles sitting at three tables at the top of the map. Then I had 2 tables on each side (each leg so to speak) downwards, with 3 people on each side of the tables. At these four tables there will be room for 24 people, meaning that I...
Phew. Up to date again, barely, as we are playing again on Saturday.
A few questions came to my mind while preparing and I wanted to hear if anyone had any insight to them.
First of all about the Waking Nightmare:
The description states the following: A creature whose physical body is damaged...
It is the final vision in chapter 7, under the heading Aftermath. There is not much in the story about it, so you could easily expand it the way you would like to make it fit.
A question about chapter 9, that I have been thinking of, and not found an answer to yet.
It is regarding the trade off between rescuing the prisoners or going to the Elves to negotiate. The downside to going to the prison is, of course, getting a lousy deal with the Elves. But what is the...
And if you really want to rub it in, then have either a gem with Syana's soul in the treasury, or even more twisted, the remains of the soul gem with Syana's soul on display in the treasury, right next to the armor.
I wish I had come up with that description for the book, or at least that you had played the chapter before me. It would have made the meeting with Guthwulf later on that much more memorable.
Well done with that book.
