Pathfinder 1E Why Do You Want to Play a Lizardfolk?

Regardless of what they claim, it will more likly be because the dev's continued the mistake of letting natural armor stack with manufactured armor into Pathfinder.

    D&D 5E (2014) Carrion Crawler error?

And one reason why the tentacle attack is one attack at higher bonus rather than a bunch of attack at lower bonus is that a mass of attacks could be traded out for a bunch of Shoves.

    D&D 5E (2014) Blade Ward cantrip

Oh yes, Shield is better, but it's a 1st level slot.

    D&D 5E (2014) Blade Ward cantrip

It can be situational, but it's plenty useful if you are not starved for spell slots. Also all foes have an easy time of getting advantage called Push besides actual monster abilities so dodge isn't infallible. Blade ward is a sometimes spell when it feels like a horde of low CR foes all want to...

D&D 5E (2014) MM sold out on amazon

Each smudged book shipped out probably cost them another unsmudged book they had to ship out to satisfy buyers. That could have eat up a lot of stock.

    D&D 5E (2014) Carrion Crawler error?

I'm suspecting they were going to give the Carrion Crawker advantage on its tentacle attacks but just made it a flat bonus so it could still benefit from advantage on the attack roll. Also gotta love how the Carrion Crawler's behavior description was apparently written before the "Save every...

D&D 5E (2014) Monster Manual - What pictures really stood out, or changed your view on a monster?

A monster's illo that makes it looks too silly to use is certainly changing someones mind on the monster! Standing out can be done in positive and negative ways. Like a glaring omission that really stands out, such as the Behir missing it's scales, making it's skin look like a RL salamander.

D&D 5E (2014) Monster Manual - What pictures really stood out, or changed your view on a monster?

Yea, they had small fangs sticking out the sides of their mouth due to the original inspiration from H J Ford. These walrus tusks are another kettle of fish :hmm: Ok, maybe they are not that oversized, but they are large enough to be distracting. I was wondering what happened along the way to...

Considering it's a upgraded squark, it could look worse. I'd bet it's a reference to this guy.

    D&D 5E (2014) Weak Saving Throws

There is nothing wrong with some call thread necromancy. This thread is VERY relevant now that folks have the monster manual in their hands and can see the save DCs PCs are expected to deal with at each Challenge rating. Now the only thing we need to fully complete the puzzle is the DMG. Will...

D&D 5E (2014) Heavy Armour Master, how does a front liner survive without it?

Been playing only for a few levels, but I'm really having trouble grasping how a front line type character is going to get by without this feat. Sure monsters start hitting harder, but with the bounded accuracy making lesser foes far more useful for a far longer time, it's been feeling like the...
