D&D 5E (2014) Previews of Rime of the Frostmaiden

These are cool, and introduce fun campaign concepts like having a campaign where the villains are using these obelisks to savescum and only the PC's and those they interact with are resistant to the change.

    D&D 5E (2014) Re-Imagining the D&D Planes as MtG Color Pie

See, this is why I like RWB as a wedge because it just throws that all for a loop.

    D&D 5E (2014) Heart of the Abyss

Demonomicon says it was Pazuzu's idea to make the shard and lure Tharizdun to find it, which allowed the obyrith to escape their dying universe in an attempt to rule the World Axis cosmology. It says the obyrith wanted to reshape the universe to their whims by having Tharizdun place the shard in...

D&D General For the Love of Greyhawk: Why People Still Fight to Preserve Greyhawk

Is Greyhawk all that grounded? I thought it was the setting that had Expedition to the Barrier Peaks among other gonzo concepts.

D&D General For the Love of Greyhawk: Why People Still Fight to Preserve Greyhawk

I don't think there's anything wrong with people appreciating Greyhawk for different reasons or in a different context and there are likely benefits from introducing more contemporary perspectives. Someone who's unfamiliar with Sword & Sorcery is even capable of drawing inferences that those who...

D&D General Dungeons & Dragons Becoming a Magic: the Gathering Set Next Year

A planar city setting ruined by excessive metaplot? Not too far off from one another really.

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythic Odysseys of Theros

You can also use cynocephaly as inspiration to include gnolls in Theros. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynocephaly

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythic Odysseys of Theros

Fair enough. Harpies are probably the way to go then given they have a few monsters at different CR's (1/8, 1, 5). Satyrs might work too but that doesn't seem to get at what you're after. Refluffing kobolds or goblins as kobaloi could work.

Wild that Oliver Stone worked on the first one.

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythic Odysseys of Theros

Make minotuars and centaurs mooks from different cultures that are in conflict with the PCs? Like @cbwjm said some Theros minotaurs can be pretty nasty. And skeletons and zombies are a big part of the Theros setting as escapees from the underworld (Returned) who may prey on people so that can...

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythic Odysseys of Theros

Centaurs, minotaurs, and harpies can be pretty wild and aggressive from the card game.

    Planescape Planescape 5E Hinted at?

Sigil seems to step on a lot of toes in Magic since Ravnica fills the niche of a giant city with varied diverse factions. Still, it would be cool for a one-off theme for a set.

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I keep feeling like having these conversations is a large part of the point.

Eberron technically has 2 computer games if you count DDO for being set in both Eberron and Forgotten Realms.

Tony DiTerlizzi also contributed art to a number of Magic: The Gathering cards so I assume he would have connections there as well.

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

Which just seems like a recipe to leaving corporations open to being manipulated by people who aren't hamstrung by our own moral framework. I'd argue that the idea that corporations ever failed to take an interest in the private lives of individuals or involved themselves in morality is a useful...
