I agree with Irda. IH was a nice game, but 4e's adaptability to low magic and more interesting martial classes has basically made it obsolete, along with Conan, A Game of Thrones, and all the other low-magic versions of 3e. Heck, Conan and AGoT could basically be setting books in 4e. Since IH...

That's just because there are so many prestige classes that give the wizard's full spell progression plus a bunch of other cool stuff. Why play a merely overpowered class when you could be playing an equally overpowered class that gets a bunch of extra cool stuff?

Oh yeah. I'm already planning on linking some of the more powerful (or plot-relevant) rituals to certain places and times. The whole, "You must perform the ritual in the circle of standing stones under the light of a full moon" thing has a heck of a lot of adventure building potential.

Isn't this exactly what Wizards has done? I'm sure that since they left out craft and profession skills some third party will fill this niche as soon as possible. Followed quickly by the "Brewmaking: Nectar of the Gods" splatbook.
