What if we tell you there are a lot of them? But I’d point you mainly in to Qbarra

D&D 5E (2014) Chronicles of Eberron Is Keith Baker's New D&D Book, out now!

I get that, I just tend to lean more on the pulp side of things. I LOVE to run some Indiana Jones style games exploring the jungles of X'endrik...

D&D 5E (2014) Chronicles of Eberron Is Keith Baker's New D&D Book, out now!

Well... you are right about that. All my games are basically just Eberron, even when I'm not running them on Eberron :ROFLMAO:

D&D 5E (2014) Chronicles of Eberron Is Keith Baker's New D&D Book, out now!

I bet you will end up finding something in the setting that leans more in your direction. I think the conflict between karnath, blood of vol and the undying court, and how undeath works in the world is right up your alley. The magic as tecnology thing throws off a lot of people, I get that, but...

D&D 5E (2014) Chronicles of Eberron Is Keith Baker's New D&D Book, out now!

it really really is. And the content in it would hardly ever be printed in a WotC book. Baker wanted to write a book about the planes of Eberron for ever, and the DM's guild allowed him to do just that. Say what you will about theguild, but I'd say it was one of the best things to happen to Eberron

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

Sorry, but I disagree with your premise here. You not liking other setting books doesn't make them bad. Most of the MTG settings are great, I loved ravenloft, most of the setting material in the adventures is really good. Spelljammer was a big blunder, sure, but that does not rewrite history and...

wasn't the leadership that decided to: 1 - publish those books. 2 - put those people in charge of the books. If you want to appear objective you have to recognize the things they got right to, even if it hurts your point.

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

I first read it with the 4e book. I was bored out of my mind while working as an intern in my town's police precinct, Eberron helped me pass the time. I love how Baker creates worlds and a lot of the Eberron assumptions became the norm later in world building.

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

Sadly, I've been begging Scribe to read Rising from the Last War for months, but Scribe hates fun! :p I get that you have no nostalgia for Eberron, well none of us had when we got in to it. But from what you say about your preferences, Eberron fits perfectly, and it has been portraied really...

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

This seems to me as a GREAT DM's Guild proposition. A series called "BOOKNAME Updated" could sell well for this particular audience.

At least they heard us when we complained about it. Zendikar Rising was pretty much a comeback to the adventure world era of Zendikar.

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

Well, coming up with a better way to convey it would be a good start. Using Musk as an example and asking WotC to focus on the "hard core fan" are not the best ways to do it. :p

WotC WotC needs an Elon Musk

I don't think Henadic is a gatekeeper, from what I've interacted with them before Henadic came of as intense and nostalgic for how things were in the past, but fun to talk to. The argument made here on the other hand, can be understood as gatekeepy. Asking for WotC to focus on the hardcore fans...

    Statement on OGL from WotC

I doubt people will need much convincing to buy the new books. Most people won't even check the playtest. They will see a new logo and some rebranding and buy the books.
