I always use my custom character sheet; back when my old group got into D&D, my DM presented us with a character sheet he downloaded from RPGsheets.com; from there 'Axiems Character Sheet' (so-named for the original inventor of the sheet we used) has gone through no less then four major...

That was a 'meh' strip; the only funny part was our Eye of Fear and Flame's little comment "please don't hurt me sir," and he's already said something like that before. :\

It seems they also have periods of open registration; at least their Forum Rules references this. Seems like an interesting place :cool:

Since most of my other problems with 3.x have likely been addressed - in regards to excessive: Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat gets you one weapon, which is only marginally better then a Martial Weapon - which Martial Weapon Proficiency feat gets you all for the price of one. It's silly, really.

I'm just going to assume you unintentionally sounded sarcastic there :uhoh: FWIW, I have run with nary a House Rule in sight before - it's just my players and I like my WGs, so we use them. It doesn't really deviate from the UA version, in any case - which was a case of symmetrical evolution; I...

I've done this before - save for my Weapon Group Proficiency system, which has been adapted into all of my games. Usually, all of my FR games are open book - anyone can use anything from anywhere. It's worked with varying degrees of success. cheers, --N

That is a bit powerful; what about just giving them +2 to any ability score. This makes humans very versatile, with their bonus feat and bonus skill points and really covers most of 3.x's bases. I don't think it really goes over LA +0 though, especially if you compare with dwarves. cheers, --N
