I am playing the full version of the game now and I love it! The one thing that is truly less than perfect is the translation from Russian to English. The weird translation does not bother me so much, however, and in some respects it even adds a certain charm to the game that knows not to take...
I don't really like 4E very much and would therefore like to see it replaced by 5E as soon as possible, but that's obviously not going to happen. All evidence coming out of WotC (statements on record sales and so on) indicates that 4E is selling extremely well. My anecdotal evidence all tells me...
I wouldn't allow Evil PCs (unless the circumstances were exceptional, such as if I was running an evil campaign). I would probably allow, but definitely frown upon aimless PCs and various comic characters that will mostly serve to derail the game. On top of that, if a player came up with a...
Actually, you guys are getting this backwards. The original King's Bounty came before the entire HoMM series. In fact, HoMM series was inspired by King's Bounty, which is not a huge surprise, considering that the two franchises were developed by the same person! The license for King's Bounty...
King's Bounty: The Legend has the hero always on the mount!
I only have the demo so far, but it seems to be a great old school RPG (but with new graphics) / Strategy hybrid and very fun indeed.

Yes, I like the experience point/level/title system too. Also, it appears that the system hasn't been abused, as sometimes happens on other sites that introduce similar systems.
Thanks - I knew I heard something from WotC that 4E was selling very well, but I couldn't pin down what precisely has been said. In any case, it does belie the notion that the RPG side of the business is not doing well.
The 10% assumption first made an appearance in 2E AD&D I believe. I remember it in the High Level Campaigns DM Option book. Indeed, the same book also had the 50% progression assumption.
