    Question anout adding damage

Any bonus that says it adds to "damage rolls" adds to any attack that has a "[W]" in it. Because that's what the "[W]" means - that you roll a die.

    Wizards: Need more Constitution-affected powers.

You really think it's that big a difference? OK, be my guest and enforce it then. :p BTW, I'm not arguing against your main point. I think staff wizards are good, too, I'm just not sure superiority vs. Shield is a good linchpin for your position.u

    Wizards: Need more Constitution-affected powers.

Well... Shield also prevents the damage. A nitpicky DM could rule that you have to activate the Shield after the attack roll but before the damage roll, so you wouldn't know exactly how much damage you stopped. But in practice, I would never be that anal about it.

How do you heal outside a fight?

PH pg 295. Though it actually specifies "creatures" I would let PCs use the rule too, in some cases. Namely, if they were stabilized during combat by the Heal skill but had already used their Second Wind, and so remained unconscious. If someone is not stabilized at the end of combat I would...

    AD&D 1E Changes to Monsters: 1e through 4e

Orcus has always had a ram's head AFAIK.

    Sacrificial Bunnies (Warlock curse question)

No more bang, just a whimper... [Derren apparently being immune to divine retribution, he instead goes on my Ignore list.]

    Sacrificial Bunnies (Warlock curse question)

KA-BOOM! [Lightning disintegrates Derren, leaving only a single smoking boot]

    Sacrificial Bunnies (Warlock curse question)

All "sack of bunnies" strategies are banned by the "Legitimate Targets" clause. DMG pg 40. Please don't belabor the point.

Another "power sources" thread (this time without speculation)

Primal is a shoo-in. I'm betting on Elemental and Shadow as the most likely secondaries. Ki and Psionic I think will get their own books, since they don't feel very "core"...

Another "power sources" thread (this time without speculation)

That's as may be, but in 4e cosmology, Arcane is explicitly Feywild derived. CBA to dig up the quotes right now, but if you have the books I'm confused as to how you could have missed it... :P

    Illusion Power Inconsistencies

Off topic, but I couldn't resist.... There is one: "HeroQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha" (Issaries 2003) That book has as close to zero errors as you will ever get. Why? Because I proofread it, and fixed quite a lot of small mistakes. ;)

    Skill Challenge in Heathen

This came up in another thread about Skill Challenges, but got lost in the hubbub, apparently. After looking at the adventure myself, I thought it was worthy of its own discussion: Point 1 seems similar to the idea of partial successes that's been bandied about, and I heartily endorse it. I...

Wizards: We want Class Power decks

I think it will be easier to print the sides separately, on normal paper, and put them in clear plastic card sleeves. :)

Wizards: We want Class Power decks

The only thing I would want card backs to say is "Encounter" or "Daily", so that if I flip a used power, I'll know when to flip it back up. But I think I can let the players pencil that in by hand on their cards. Give 'em something to do. ;)

    Collected Core Handbook Errata

In the category of "unhelpful references".... DMG p 145: "Campaign Handout: Keep a copy of the handout you made for your players (page 25)." Page 25 just mentions handouts for clues to an adventure and suchlike, it says nothing about giving the players a piece of paper with the outlines...

You gain a bonus to the attack roll equal to your Strength modifier.

Then you take a penalty. In the example you give of Topple Over (p 120), the + your Str mod only applies if you've chosen to be a Brutal Scoundrel. You'd have to be pretty daft to pick that tactic with a low Strength. Generally speaking, in all cases like this the bonuses have to be...

    Wizard and spellbooks

Dude, you're complicating things so much you make my head hurt. It's like this. The table on pg 29 of the PH tells you how many daily and utility spells you can "know" (a poor choice of words when it comes to the wizard, but we can gloss over that). Which levels they are depend on...

    Power sources. What's the point?

Don't do drugs, drugs are bad, mmmkay? ;) While rituals clearly tap different power sources - notably arcane, divine and primal - there is no prerequisite of getting your class powers from the same source. You just have to be trained in the appropriate skill.

All Possible Ability Scores for 22 Points

The number of possible stat raises is 8. Which is an even number. ;) 1) Oh yes indeed. 2) Probably, considering the next answer... 3) For most builds, absolutely. I would say a lot of builds don't actually have a proper tertiary stat - often you just want a 3rd score to be relatively decent to...
