    Is My Paladin Evil?

I don't know about evil, but I think the mental illness thing is great  (so long as your having fun with it). Do you think you can get your DM to post the random mental illness chart?

The Stigma of D&D OR Help! I'm Stuck in the D&D Closet?

Now that's cool. Tough story, but right on. I wasn't as eloquent as the gentlemen above, but that's what I attempted to get across. If you are true to yourself, everything else will fall into place.

The Stigma of D&D OR Help! I'm Stuck in the D&D Closet?

Why? Be satisfied with the people who do like you. Life is too short to waste time on people who are critical of how others' live. While its a nice sentiment, its plainly unrealistic. some people will be excited by the things each of us like or at least infected by our enthusiasm and others...

    Dungeon 114 Cover

I don't like it much. The font lacks pizzaz. Dungeon is not a "bleeech" magazine; it deserves something a little flashier, something that will stand out on newstand.

The Stigma of D&D OR Help! I'm Stuck in the D&D Closet?

Reading this I'm reminded of a sign on the tattoo palor wall where I got my first tattoo. It read: The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people don't care if your not tattooed. Apply this principle to RPG or anything else for that matter. If it's...

The Stigma of D&D OR Help! I'm Stuck in the D&D Closet?

While I'm sympathetic with the orginial poster, A lot of the "stigma" placed on D&D is self-imposed, IMO. Having lived through the hype surrounding the game in the 80s (I'm 35 this week), I have never really experienced the stigma. Even in high school, I played openly. I don't feel that it...

"Clone" undervalued as a Raise Dead substitute?

I had a character utlize Clone as a life insurance policy. He was also looking toward lichdom and had considered this a "last resort" as suggested in Felix's initial post.

    DARK•HERITAGE -- 16 installments to date, updated April 20th

Why Not? Indeed. That blue D20 was bad news. All 1 and 5s. But the black one ... Now, that's another story. (Knocks on wood). Looks around. Walks over to the Roshan Boh and says in a hushed voice, "ahhh - What's that mean?"

How much PC die in your campaign in average ?

In my Parent-Kid game, we suffer at least one death per session with only two of the eight players having characters that naturally achieved third level (the current party level). I don't fudge the dice and do open rolling - and deaths are generally combat related, but caused through PC...

    DARK•HERITAGE -- 16 installments to date, updated April 20th

Ahh - Konrad Jones - I know him well. Konrad here is a Wildlander, which is way out of the norm for me; I prefer to play spellcasters. In fact, all the players selected character classes that they normally would not play. This was a fun session. It was the first time, we, the players got to...

D&D with no Healing Magic! Would it work?

I currently play in a game that lacks healing magic (and magic in general is rare) and I find it absolutely entertaining. I agree with the other writers in that the absence of healing magics (spells, potions, or otherwise) forces the players to use a different mindset toward standard D&D type...

    Downer - I just don't get it

I appreciate your candor, Erik. Nonetheless, I throw my lot in with those who don't like Downer. However, Downer in and of itself is not enough to make me even consider dropping my subscription to Dungeon. On the other hand, Downer has some appeal. My 11 year old kid reads Downer first.

    Subscribers receiving Dungeon 111?

My lovely wife called and let me know that the Magazine came in today. I'm looking forward to flipping through it when I get home tonight. :)

In your campaign, which is worse: killing or stealing?

We had both of these sins occurr in the most recent session of the Parent-Kid game. One young man's character (an 8 year old) uncovered th innkeeper's life savings stashed under a step in the Inn following a brawl at the Inn. His conscience (sp?) got the better of him and he returned the...

    Subscribers receiving Dungeon 111?

No Dungeon in White Lake, :( but the guitar magazine came today. Maybe Paizo should talk to GuitarOne about fulfillment.

    Subscribers receiving Dungeon 111?

Count me in on this lateness. In my experience, late issues is the norm with Paizo. While I continue to find great value in Dungeon, Paizo's fulfillment house is inadequate. Part of the reason for subscribing to a periodical is to obtain the latest issue prior to its over-the-counter release...

What books did you use last session?

Last Sunday, we ran the fourth installment of the parent-kid game. The books I used to prep and during the game were ... 3.0 and 3.5 core books (whichever version is better for the character is used, thus we have a 3.0 sor and 3.5 rang) Unearthed Arcana (major titan bloodline) Dragon 318...

Should Dungeon and Polyheadron be in the same magazine

When they first put the magazines together, I was quite unhappy. I didn't think that Poly offered me much, and I didn't like the min-games. My mind has been changed. I get good value out of both halves of Dungeon. Keep the magazines together. Good job, Paizo.
