Trinity Continuum Reboots Aberrant For The Better

So, uhm... did you notice that no one talked about them being contemporary? :-) Rules wise, yes... the new Aberrant is more narrative-driven and the dice poll are less... well... cumbersome. And the setting has been updated, taking in account the last twenty years both of real history and of...

Trinity Continuum Reboots Aberrant For The Better

Mutants & Masterminds. It came out a bit after Aberrant first edition, but it's been, more or less, the most popular not-licensed superheroic RPG. As for Paradox... it hasn't got anything to do with this Trinity Continuum: Aberrant, which is solely a child of Onyx Path.

Cubicle 7 To Stop Publishing Lone Wolf

First of all, the Lone Wolf gamebooks are freely (and legally) available online at projectaon.org. And they've been so for the last twenty years or so. Only exceptions are the more recent volumes (n. 29-31 and the yet unpublished n. 32). At the same website, you can also find The World of Lone...

Cubicle 7 To Stop Publishing Lone Wolf

I'm expecting that the RPG books will follow the same direction of the gamebooks and will now be published by Holmgard Press, the small-press publishing house directly owned by the son of Joe Dever.

    Million Dollar TTRPG Kickstarter Club

I think that the The One Ring campaign is gonna be a turning point. While LotR is the hugest name worldwide in fantasy, it's also never been so much of a rpg hit. This KS has been the second rpg-related campaign to breach the 2M mark and it has done so without: 5e, streaming, and lotsa...

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Snow White

I'd actually give her a Wisdom below 10. Her curiosity puts her continuously in danger, regardless of the sage advices from the Dwarfs.

Is The One Ring 2E Kickstarter going to break the records?

As a rule of thumb, for what is worth from a non-project creator like me, a 30-days campaign seems a lot of wasted time, effort, and energy, if you've made enough of a marketing campaign before it. The long, silent middle part is only really useful to campaigns started with a low profile, i.e...

A BATMAN RPG Has Just Been Announced

I would contend the fact that the game was just announced. There's this Facebook post () going back to May, 13, that suggests otherwise.

Pathfinder 2E Here's the Cover Art for Pathfinder 2E's April Bestiary 2

I don't find it weird, not desperate. It's just a communication strategy, really different from WotC's. And I suggest to tone down the doom and gloom. "Desperate".

Just in case anyone didn't notice it, this piece is a lovely homage to the classic illustration from John Sibbick for the cover of Warhammer 40.000: Rogue Trader.

The One Ring 2nd Edition Is Coming!

Please remember, also, that the initial idea was to have three separate slipcased The One Ring games, every one of them slowly shifting the feel, themes (and rules) of the game from the fairy story-like feel of The Hobbit towards the more epic themes of The Lord of the Rings. The games should...

New Editions of Big Eyes Small Mouth & Silver Age Sentinels Led By Ex-Guardians of Order Founder

There are plenty of excellent RPGs on the market. Numerous excellent publishers. Some amazing game designers. We don't need MacKinnon to have a 4th edition BESM. I'd dare say we also don't necessary need BESM at all, to have an innovative, up-to-date, generic manga-anime RPG.

New Editions of Big Eyes Small Mouth & Silver Age Sentinels Led By Ex-Guardians of Order Founder

I agree. And people should point out all those things to White Wolf, as they seem to be struggling to become a more aware company.

What's Happened To Warhammer 40K Wrath and Glory?

And I still see no reason to not get better. Try to sell D&D 4th edition nowadays and let's see how well it'll perform. Excluding players who want to play Xenos because the majority plays Imperium is not even a reason, actually. You should try to include more, not less.
