Is there such a thing as an undead troll???

Fiend Folio for Zodar, MMII for blunt weapon immunity. Both 3.0 sources - but neither has had 3.5 reprints. Wizard even put out 3.5 updates for each, with no mentioning of removing immunities.

    Eye of Profane Truth

As you move towards the wharf, you notice a lone figure, a middle-aged man in simple clothes, sitting on the wharf with a fishing rod, humming to himself. You move closer, wondering whether to call out to him. He speaks, not bothering to turn around. The sound seemed to originate from just...

Is there such a thing as an undead troll???

This isn't regeneration, but it is possibly better: Zodars are immune to everything except blunt weapons. A Master Transmogrifist Shapechanging into a Zodar and getting blunt weapon immunity with Infinite Variety is immune to all damage. Only problem is MDJ.

Epic game: The Eye of Profane Truth (Full)

When you are created, the Perfect imbued each of you with a tiny fragment of his memories. This means that you have basic knowledge of this world, and a smatter of other, more esoteric things (that is where your Knowledge skill came from.) Therefore, if you have any questions about the world...

Since you're all mostly done, I'll start the IC thread. If anyone wants to roll dice, post the modifiers and I'll do the rolling. I don't expect any need for that right away, though. Here: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=143794

    Eye of Profane Truth

A lurid dream, of gods and demons, barely remembered, fading. You wake to the sound of waves. You sit up, look around. You are at a beach, but there is no wind, no cry of seabirds, only the gentle sound of waves. The sand beneath you is fine-grained, gray like volcanic ash. Looking inland, you...

    Overcoming Reach Disadvantage?

    Armor spikes, of course.

Epic game: The Eye of Profane Truth (Full)

Nephtys: add 2002 gp to your dagger and your char would be ready. Pyrex: so's yours, soon as you spend the few skill points you neglected (be sure to tally up the skill points afterwards) and maybe exchange your wild armor to something else. All in all, I recon we could start by Friday.

    1. You didn't put in the increased flight speed. 2. Your skills total is still wrong. Add it up again. 3. Boccob's Blessed Book is 12,500gp. 4. Your item total is off, too. Argh. Add up your skills and your wealth properly before you submit them, people.

Help me price some magic items

Hm. Wouldn't do to have low-level guards running around with 9th-level scrolls in their weapons anyway - they'd get hunted for them. How much for a +1 Halberd that can store any level 3 spell, once, and allows anyone to use it - a Command Word item instead of Spell Completion? What about a...

I house-ruled in Able Learner as a bonus feat. All cross-class skills are paid for at class skill costs, but max ranks still apply.

Something that gives a equal penalty to cha-based skills under certain broad circumstances, maybe. I'm shooting for something that is mechanically equal or similiar, but with a different flavor. How about this: you get the infamy penalty when you have your fiendish grafts exposed, and the...

Nephtys: you removed the Periapt of Wisdom, but didn't remove the bonus... Don't forget to change the Monk AC, the Stunning Fist DC, and the skill bonus. Also, your dagger should be 2002 gp more expensive - I didn't take Cold Iron into account last time.

Pyrex: SRD, Wild: "The wearer of a suit of armor or a shield with this ability preserves his armor bonus (and any enhancement bonus) while in a wild shape. Armor and shields with this ability usually appear to be made covered in leaf patterns. While the wearer is in a wild shape, the armor...

    Irresistaible dance or maze?

I heard it on this board a while ago, actually. There was a thread about it, people complaining how the spell now suck. I can't find the source either.

Judgement Day: EVIL (Good stay out)

Well, in that case, Alosat will use the Dream Travel option. He'll go by the surface, where there isn't a barrier up. Speed is 5 miles/minute (2640 feet per round), and he should be undetectable. Assuming no other defenses, He should be right in the middle of the city (but somewhere where he...

Judgement Day: EVIL (Good stay out)

/ooc: was the barrier a Force effect? Does it extend aboveground? Assuming no to the first and yes to the second... 1st round: Shapechange into a Dream Vestige (Lib Mor) and see if he can bypass this barrier using the Plane of Dreams. 2nd, 3rd round: If unsuccessful, Shapechange: Phoenix...

Hm. It's true - the wording is 'increase the creature's speed', which means it does technically add to all modes, despite the counter-intuitiveness. Very well, you can have that on the flight speed. The other one is ambiguous as well, but I am going to house-rule this: the Boots of Swiftness...
