What spells should a cleric persistent?

Broken or not, it is still rules legal, dude. Unless you're his DM, I don't think you should be telling him how to enjoy his game, dude. Because it's just a game, dude. p.s. Check out the character optimization boards at the WoTC site. I'm sure they will welcome your opinions of game balance...

So, what are the "400 actually useful" feats?

A lot of PrCs are balanced by requiring the PC to take crappy feats, though. Making the prereq a feat that is actually worth taking will unbalance some things.

What spells should a cleric persistent?

Divine Metamagic, dude. At lvl 5 your choices are rather limited. You'll probably end up going with Divine Favor. If you could swing it with your DM, Mass Lesser Vigor would be pretty funky, though. Fast Healing 1 for you and a friend.

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

No changes to equipment now that the game has started. You want another rod, you'll have to find a merchant that sell it. My only requirement is that you all stay in the one place, so I suppose you'll have to decide any course of action as a party. Mainly the concern is synchronising the time...

    Dancing weapons

How do these work, exactly? -Can I use a Dancing weapon and still attack with another weapon? -Does the Dancing weapon get all the hit/damage bonuses that the character have? -Can I Arcane Strike with a Dancing weapon? A fighter takes a move action up to the enemy wizard. He lets go of his...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

I am starting the IC thread. I still need Nephtys to remove his questionable AC bonus, but otherwise you're all good to go. From this point on you can make no changes to your character except to fix illegal things. IC thread: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=168713

Eye of Profane Truth - rebooted!

You have been walking in a daze for as long as you remember, and it is the only thing you remember. You are on an battlefield, recently abandoned. The air is filled with the smell of blood and decay. Everywhere you look you see bodies, some humanoid, some not, torn and mangled beyond repair...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

One more thing: you don't really need to do this right away, but I want from everyone a list of resistances/immunities/active spells, etc. Saves the arguments in the middle of combat. If you neglect to mention an immunity, I'll just assume it's not there at the time. :-)

Yes. Persistent Spell got nerfed in the errata. Good thing, too.

Are all of you done making changes to your chars? When everyone's done, I'll make a final check and start the game. I'd like to start on Monday. Get to it, everyone.

We did not. I have no idea where you got that from. Either way, change it back.

I'd rather not. So it would seem. Ah well. Plenty of time to redo that too.

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

Wrahn: you need to change your spells per day since your Int score changed. Also, you took three Improved Spell Capacities but you haven't put in the high-level slots. Azaar: you should have 3 spells in your 10th and 11th slots. On the feats: eschew materials is not metamagic, so it can't...

LR: 1. your weapons totals were slightly off. Should be like this: Weapon 1 Starmetal Greatsword Large 10100 Enchantment +4 Ghost Strike +2 Sacred Burst +2 Undead Bane +1 Magebane +1 200000 210100 Weapon 2 Masterwork Boulder Large 600...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

What Wrahn said. Also, you built your character very similiar to mine in the Judgment Day campaign. A modified and slightly pumped up version of the same is a major NPC in this campaign, so I'd rather not have any builds so similiar. But take your time. Unlike the others, you don't need to...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

I'm awake, I'm awake. Nice catch on the Arcane Disciple. I could have sworn those spells stay Divine. Wrahn, you'll need to change things again. Azaar: the Spellsword bonus feat won't grant you an epic feat. No nonepic class ever grants an epic feat. You still haven't picked all your...

    Fine tune my Spellsword!

If you've bothered spending a feat on Power Attack, I'm guessing you're willing to mix it up in melee, yes? In that case, Arcane Strike is almost an absolute must for a gish. Extend/Persistent is pretty good, too. Another must-have for the gish. Though I'd only get it with access to 8th...
