    D&D 5E (2014) Vampire v. Ocean: FIGHT!

Perhaps you adapt the Vampire Shark? http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2015/02/fishermen-catch-rare-goblin-shark-vampire-of-the-deep/

    D&D 5E (2014) Starting a 5E campaign - any tips from 5E "veterans?"

Yes, it is fairly easy to convert, and I'd certainly say it is worthwhile. Your biggest sticking points will be stuff that isn't written up yet (psionics, etc.) and characters built around mechanics that changed substantially (opportunity attacks).

    D&D 5E (2014) Starting a 5E campaign - any tips from 5E "veterans?"

This. So very much. Also, look over the Death domain and Oathbreaker archetypes in the DMG. Both are excellent villain options for your undead-centric missions.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana is Here - and it's all about EBERRON!

No worries on the grammar, welcome to the Boards! As for taking a stat penalty to get the dragonmark feat early, it shouldn't be too disruptive. I'd attach a higher cost if they want an aberrant mark, since it gives more choices on spells.

Hopefully they include a printable All Kender Shot On Sight sign.

D&D 5E (2014) Does anyone have any experience with Monks?

Looking at the PCs in your group, I have to wonder why you don't count the Druid as a melee character.

    D&D 5E (2014) Building a butt kicking wizard

I'd say go Fire Bloodline Dragon Sorcerer. Pros: -Free always-on Mage Armor. -At lvl 6, free damage boost to your main attack spells (Fire Bolt, Scorching Ray, Fireball). -Having a high Charisma character in the party always helps for social encounters. Plus, at level five you can do every...

    D&D 5E (2014) Necromancer Archetypes For PCs

I'd recommend Brian the Cheerful Necromancer, from the webcomic Dominic Deegan. It's a different archetype, at least. Introduced starting here: http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2008-06-11

    D&D 5E (2014) Spell interaction conundrum

First thing that comes to mind is a defensive/protective usage of the Imprisonment spell, either the Burial or Minimus Containment version. What should have been an easy hide/call for help effect was ruined when the apprentice altered the conditions for ending the spell.

D&D 5E (2014) roleplaying the Oath of the Ancients

The Ancients' vows do not necessarily mean light as a literal light source. The duty speaks of the light of hope, the light of joy, and being a beacon against despair. That said, a demonic pact is a truly foul affront to the light, and such a warlock would certainly be watched closely for signs...

    Secrets of Sokol Keep

1 out of 5 rating for Secrets of Sokol Keep This is a mess. The grammatical errors and overload of unrelated trivia are just the beginning. Large parts of the story just don't make sense, like the fact that no one in town makes any effort to investigate the missing lighthouse guards. The...

    D&D 5E (2014) knowledge rolls and monsters N Stuff

Does her character have the Sage background? That would mean she has spent her life extensively studying every piece of lore available. I had one player who took the Guild Artisan (Alchemist) background & played it as if they were a Skyrim Alchemist, hunting troll fat and vampire dust. We...

D&D 5E (2014) Can characters give themselves Horrible Scar?

If they are a Half-Orc, it's pretty much required to have scars from all manner of sources.

D&D 5E (2014) roleplaying the Oath of the Ancients

Yes, Qui-Gon Jinn. To quote the movie: Obi-Wan: Do not defy the council, Master, not again. Qui-Gon Jinn: I shall do what I must, Obi-Wan. After all, the biggest difference between Devotion and the Ancients is that Ancients have no oath of Duty. Their only obligation is to the Light.

D&D 5E (2014) roleplaying the Oath of the Ancients

I'd actually compare it to The Flash, especially from the Justice League cartoons. Fight the bad guys, do the right thing, and always have a quip or punchline.

    Dead In Thay

2 out of 5 rating for Dead In Thay The best part of the Doomvault is it's map. The thing is huge, detailed, ...and doesn't come with this adventure except as a one-page illustration. The story itself is one huge grind through a dungeon designed for 20+ players at multiple tables, with multiple...
