    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

Have you slept yet? edit: Not that I'm offering something. Platonic--let's keep it completely platonic.

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

Thank you! I may not be a Holmes expert, but I've read every story (one, right after another, until my brain went numb...you don't realize how annoying the expression 'singular' is until you read Doyle using it over and over again in practically every story). Brett just seemed to 'get' how...

"Me"?!? "ME"?!?! Don't you mean "US"?!? (It's always the "Me, me, me" with you.) LOL

    Nightfall's Conspiracy theory!

I work at a computer tech support line. TRUST me, they don't need reality TV nor commercials to dumb down the American public.

    Nightfall's Conspiracy theory!

By the way, in "real life" Nightfall's name is actually Fox Mulder.

Opinions on Dungeon Crawl Classics #39: DM Screen and Adventure

Sure--look at the cover art of most of the DCCs published; many of them are on the screens.

Robin Laws D&D Campaign Idea - D&D Deadwood

Thsi almost, at first, sounds like Goodman's Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure Into the Wilds. ....'Cept different.

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

Shroomy said, "I absolutely love DCC 34 Cage of Delirium," in the linked thread above ^. I can't wait to run this adventure.

    DMing Motivations & Aspirations

Well, not that I'm implying anything, but...I just bought Castles and Crusades for 80% of the same things you listed off in the original post. ;)

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

That is, in fact, exactly what I love about DCCs--they're so incredibly non-setting specific that you can plop them down anywhere and you've got insta-adventures! Me, I'm using a steampunk-inspired theme, so I was able to inject some tech here & there, swap out a trebuchet for a stationary...

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

This was exactly #2 adventure I've run in D&D 3.5 ever. (#1 was actually from The Adventure Begins.) It gets a little monotonous, but it was pretty cool.

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

To be blunt, I haven't RUN many of them, although I've read several. What I've read of DCCs, they're uber-cool! I'm currently running Into the Wilds and seriously, it rocks on toast. If you subscribe to the Goodman messageboards (free!) you'll see several of us running it right now, posting...

    Recommend a Dungeon Crawl Classic?

What level? I can make several recommendations, but they depend on how....uh....deadly. ;) And yes, The Adventure Begins, a series of approx. twenty 1st - 2nd level beginning crawls, very non-setting specific, are great.

    Tell me about C&C

If I might threadjack for a moment, anyone know how I can adapt the dragon shaman & beguiler to C&C? Posting links is a totally valid reply... [/threadjack]

What Game Rules should be my alternate for WotC products?

I decided before I heard about the magazine cancellations to move to this, but hearing the news--it only fuels the fire. I really liked Dungeon, even at it's lowest point(s). And I really like the faster, looser-er spin on the rules (especially combat) that C&C offers.

WotC Replies: Statements by WotC employees regarding Dragon/Dungeon going online

See, this is the ONLY way in which I think this is positive: I love to write and scribble all over my Dungeon adventures. In paper form, I'd have to photocopy them....which is technically illegal....in order to do that. In PDF, I can print the pages, and then write anything I want all over...
