Well since we have switched to 4E I have noticed a glaring absence of hit/wound description, perhaps this is also related to the fact that our healer/leader is a warlord.

I can sum up my problem with the whole 4E wounding/healing thing as follows. IME of DMing and playing DnD for the past 25 years a successful roll to hit has always been a hit regardless of edition or campaign. Similarly once one had successfully hit it always did some physical damage again...

Clearly to who, it seems to me that you are making assumptions about the narrative. What you are describing as a mere scratch I might have described as a spear through the thigh. So why couldn't it take a week to fully recover from that without magical healing?

I really don't know anything about FFT for the PSP but the old PS1 game about the "Zodiac Brave Story" has the makings of a very cool campaign setting. I would love to do it sometime or see it done. The original FFT is also one of my all time favorite PS games. I found my copy a few weeks ago...

I don't know why people are so in denial about this it seems fairly obvious IMO. If you are comfortable with kind words of encouragment closing wounds then the change that 4E represent probably won't bother you. If your not ok with it then 4E will present challenges to immersion perhaps even...

Pre 4E 85% DM 15% player in 25 years of DnDing. Post 4E 100% player my group switched and I'm along for the ride. (My swordmage is fun)

I guess to me calling that thing a lich or dracolich makes about as much sense to me as filing off the word orc from their MM entry and calling them plains giants. Sure I can make up a paragraph of fluff to try and justify it but that really doesn't make it any better IMO.

For starters I would have liked it much more if they made daily powers for spell caster types only. Perhaps this could have been balanced by giving the sword swingers an extra encounter power or two. I just don't like the flavor of daily martial powers at all.

This is really the bottom line, well said sir. The lich draco or not was always a terrifying and powerful creature now the term lich has been devalued to include this poop. Lame!

It seems quite lame to me and hardly deserving of being associated with lichdom. It also seems really limited in that they are all large in size which I supose means that either dragons have been shrunk or that they are only made from small dragon bones. Why not just call them guardian dragon...

They were the only Brick and Mortar store that I could find Delta Green in, they always had a great selection of stuff. I hope they do well where ever it is that they end up.

I agree and am pleased that BotR wasn't overlooked its my personal favorite along with stuff like CoC D20 and Delta Green, and Midnight.
