I don't think the question is whether they can be spammed every second all day... Though it's not a bad point to address otherwise. But casting Light or Guidance 12 or 20 times in a day is hardly casting it every second all day, but it's more than enough for gameplay purposes.

When I was running it, I had the cleric roll the die for their turn so only 1 roll was necessary. but youre right, it's still a "remember to take your temp hp" every player turn.

Automatically ending any fear or charm is another biggie- at best, it should only be able to help one PC per turn.. or maybe it allows a reroll instead of auto ending. And you need to reduce the aura range. The spell list and armor proficiencies... I don't know.

It's faster, there's no question in that. But there's nothing to require them to learn the underlying concepts; some folk WILL be interested in understanding them, the enthusiasts (who end up on forums like this!)... but for the folk that aren't going to be that heavily engaged in the system...
