AtG Howling Crag (5e PBP) OOC

An hour after dusk gives us cover of darkness so that will work too. I’ll edit my post. I figured PwT would help us approach the gates while it’s dark and help us to be stealthy while climbing around g the outside of the north spire . I figured the flyers would fly low enough that the gorge...

AtG Howling Crag (5e PBP) OOC

Double post: The easiest method:, we have Telekinesis and we are at the bottom of the gorge. We could try moving the boulders. In any case, I've posted IC. We should just go for it, whatever we choose.

Everyone was back together, huddled from the cold and wind, eating a humble meal of iron rations. Donnell had his hood up over his head and his gloves on as he peered up the gorge. He could climb it, he was confident in that. It was a long way but the type of...

I like this plan. Should we execute it? I didn't realize that Pass Without Trace was now a 30' emanation now. It would mean traveling back up the main road. Pass without Trace AND invisibility might be overkill. Could we risk going with just PWT? I don't know The Colonel's sneak. I...

Pirate Borg: Buried in the Bahamas

I thought one of the advantages of a magic weapon is you couldn’t lose it on a crit fail. But I may be wrong.

Is there a way for the giant eagle to get most of us into position, if need be? Like riding the eagle and dropping from above and using levitate to slowly and safely descend towards the opening?

Pirate Borg: Buried in the Bahamas

Desiree clambers out of the sea, looking like a bedraggled cat. His mangy hair and beard are wet and matted against his face. He lies on his back on the makeshift deck, catching his breath. "Well, that were a close call. " Then, to the sky he shouts, "Full sails, let's find that port!"

(IC) Quickleaf's Rime of the Frostmaiden

The dwarf looks back at the others who offered to be his companions through the mines. "Yes, a room for each." He counts 5 gold and hands it over. A room was the least he could do to repay their kindness. "It looks like you've been busy, keep the change." He...

What if we approach via the road at night. When we are 20-30 mins from the Crag, we cast invisibility and the other person cast fly on two people. We sneak up to 40 feet from the gates and walk off the edge. 2 people fly from a distance, (Gimlak & Doc) Kharu fly as a bird, Donnell will...

Double post My bad. You can move a person 20 feet per turn using an action for levitate. We can always try the other at via the gorge. Can we burrow under the giant boulders( using wild shape to become a large burrowing animal) or, if someone has telekinesis, move the rocks.

FYI, Donnell has a climbing speed. He can climb. Probably unrealistic to climb 300 feet but if I can sneak back invisibly, I can just walk off the path and climb around to the window. But I think it’s a few hours to get back. Weird that levitate is capped at 20 feet. What happens if you...

Under the glare of the patrolling eagle-mounted giant, they walked and talked. Donnell nodded to the Colonel's assessment, "Judicious use of Mass Suggestion will let us to avoid combat if we accidentally run into civilians. The way from the gorge leads into...

Donnell wasn't much for making vows or oaths. He'd made deals with agents in rival clans and he'd done his best to keep his side of the bargain. But that was more about maintaining a reputation for being good with your word than saying something for the sake of...
