    2-Weapon Fighting vs. 1-Weapon Fighting

Ummm... so hes got a +2 flaming broadsword and a +1 flaming broadsword then? Did someone in the party make them or did you give them to him? The gp value on the swords alone is 26000 gp, the wealth limit for a 6th level character is 17000gp. I'm assuming he has other magical gear. This might...

    Green Slime

Treat it like an acid trap. Green slime can't really move IIRC, so it would be used to drop or spray on someone (or could fill say a pit). Just use appropriate DCs for wherever it happens to be. Not the greatest feedback, but the DMG leaves it pretty open.

    Turning Undead too powerful?

I don't think they lose thier Dex bonus (though I could be wrong), so no sneak attacks. Not that it would matter since once you attacked the turning would end anyway (or is it someone else turning them- don't know the PrC).

    coup de grace too powerful

I think your thinking of regenerating creatures and weapons that can't hurt them. Though something about killing someone with a sap doesn't seem quite right. Need to do some research...

    2-Weapon Fighting vs. 1-Weapon Fighting

So if I look at it right the PC has a 19 in Str at level 6 (is this right?), and is doulbe wielding 2 bastard swords. So he has: +6 BAB +4 Str to hit +1 WF +2/+1 Sword enhancements -4 two weapons (no light weapon) Total +8/+3/+7 For a 6th level character thats not very good at all. Assuming he...

    Natural Weapon Enhancements

Say again? Are you asking for how to make a magic weapon for unarmed fighters/creatures? By the core rules its can't be done, but MoF has MonkBracers that basically allow themselves to be enchanted like weapons and have the passed on to unarmed attacks (they also give ImpUnarmedStrike to...

Anyone wanna give this NWN thread a try? :)

You're welcome to try and summon a Solar and ask him to not defend himself while you kill him. When they find your headless corpse later, I'm sure they'll wonder what happened. Gate says nothing about compelling the creature to do something that would result in its death. It can be summoned...

    What exactly does "Blessed" do?

Case by case. Generally its only Devils and Demons. Most of them regenerate unless hit with blessed weapons. Otherwise it doesn't really come up much.

    Sundering a ring?

The Sage speaks... Me: This has become a big discussion with no obvious answers (at least none that make sense). If someone is wearing a ring can you attack the ring and destroy it? Skip: Sure. Me: If so what is the rings AC? Does it get cover or concealment(from the other fingers of...

    force a Concentration check?

And odds are the DC will be MUCH higher than anything else you can do. For example a 3rd level spell... Riding on Horseback: DC 18 Vigorous Motion: DC 13 Entangled: DC15 Hit by an attack for 12 points of damage: DC 25 In fact if you can reliably break 10 damage, theres no better way to get a...

    Antimagic shell (I know, I know ...)

Ok lets put it this way. Its solid to magic, but not to yor hand. Your hand passes through this quasi-solid area and delivers the spell. The spell can't leave your body because it would be suppressed by the solid all around it. Does this way of looking at it make more sense? Or from dcollins...

    Antimagic shell (I know, I know ...)

Re: my $0.02 You made sense to me. In fact you laid it out in nice and simple to understand format. Spells with a range of self or touch aren't effected by line of effect. Theres no "line" you just touch the target or (in the case of self) it takes effect on the caster. To try to explain it...

    gauntlet of rust

You'd be right. Its a touch attack, you touch the armor but don't do damage. I think discussions on touch spells with unarmed attacks (ie a monk with Shocking Grasp cast), have decided that you could do it, but you use full AC and the touch misses if the attack misses; though I could be wrong on...

+5 Adamantine Armor Spikes of Defending

There might be more cost effective ways, but I'll bet none of them stack with everything. 72k isn't that much to get a +5 dodge bonus all the time. In fact its way too cheap considering it doesn't take any item slots, and doubles as a +5 weapon whenever you need it. Min cost should be at least...

    cost of buildings

Re: Re: Re: Why not wood? Most D&D worlds are larger than Europe so not as likely to fall into the space problems that real world Europe had (and still has to some extent). In bigger cities most buildings would be of stone most likely, but then again magic could probably take care of most...

    force a Concentration check?

Anything that says it forces a Conc check and doesn't deal damage (many spells and the like do this). Trip attacks would probably fall in this dept as was mentioned above. It really depends on the DMs call, but generally damage, spells that indicate they can cause a Conc check, and enviromental...

    Polymorph on +ECL creatures

Anyway you look at it, they would still be Drow under the effects of a polymorph other spell. If someone curses you it doesn't change your character levels (effective or otherwise), even though you are now weaker than you were. Your character is still a Drow, he just has a bad spell on him. When...
