    Celestial creature advancement

I would probably keep giving it animal HD as it advances. As for Sacred Vow / VoP, that is definitely "Talk to your DM" material right there. Something with an intelligence of 3 could talk but I don't know how much it could devote itself to "the greater good" that an exalted character could...

    unusual terrain/environment ideas

What's your alignment again? Are you sure? ;)

    unusual terrain/environment ideas

I had players travel through a pocket dimension that was each of the seasons. Each season was ruled by a lord. The players had to either appease the ruler of the season or kill them and take their power. Once they did that, they could travel to the next season. The PCs were also given a...

Creatures Immune to Stun but can be Charmed

Elemental is probably your best bet. Otherwise, you could go with someone that has the Warshaper PrC for the Thrall (Some sort of underground druid?). Third Eye Clarity lets you negate stunning as an immediate action. Or you could use the Talisman of Undying Fortitude to gain various...

Demons Gaining New Spell Like Abilities

I have a Glabrezu leading a cult. Is there anyway to expand his list of Spell Like Abilities either by feat or template?

    Demons and Desecrate

I have a large lair full of demons guarding a cult that wants to release the Demon Prince of Madness. I was wondering if there was a spell, ability, or item that would grant similar protections to the demons like desecrate and unhallow do for undead. Bonus to hit and HP, things like that...

Dealing with a non-disruptive problem player

I have, unfortunately, been in this situation twice recently. The biggest thing you can do is talk. If you don't communicate then this won't get resolved. You'll wind up secretly resenting the Problem Player (PP) until it all just blows up. So, here's my two coppers.... 0 - If you're just...

    D&D 3.x New body slot( dentures )

I had a player that asked for a Tongue Stud of Glibness. So cheap but so powerful....

    Braille for wizards

One thing to consider is that in 3.5, each wizard has their own way of scribing their spells and arcane formula, though they share the same "alphabet". Without a spellcraft check, or a read magic spell, you can't read another wizard's spellbook. So, writing it in braille could, with DM's...

    Learning Curve

I think you've got some good advice here already. I'm a big fan of having a rival group take it out if the players get frustrated. Have the rival group rub the PCs nose in it. "Oh yea, it was really easy. We just lured it to this pass, dropped a net on it and killed it." And the townsfolk...

Ouch... That looks like it hurts! or OMD Your're Bleeding Out

Not too long ago I was running my 3.5 D&D game where the paladin took an AoO. The monster rolled something like 20, 20, 19 to hit. (We play it where you keep rolling 20's; three 20's in a row is an instakill.) The damage was enough to turn the paladin into a fine red mist. But the players...

Looking for some magic items to increase one's fly speed.

You could drop a custom magic item that grants the user the ability to cast Cloud Wings (+30 fly speed) or you could have an item that grants Haste. The Air Heritage feat (Requires you to be tied to the elemental plane of air) and Improved Speed (Requires dragon type) would improve speed.

    Prestige Classes and Spellcasting

In 3.5 there are some prestige classes that require spell casting to enter but then give you a brand new spell list, such as Knight of the Chalice. How unbalancing would it be to swap the new spell list and just advance a PCs previous casting abilities? What if a PC enters into a prestige...

Help me price a magic item! Sword that ignores all DR ...

A bow can confer their abilities on the ammunition they fire. Epic DR typically needs +6 or better. Or Force effects, I guess. Though there's nothing wrong with saying that the Force enhancement doesn't beat x/epic.

Help me price a magic item! Sword that ignores all DR ...

As written in the MIC, it can only be placed on ranged weapons. I'm not sure why. It also lets you ignore the miss chance due to incorporealness. You could always raise it to +3. If you go with +3, then your PCs probably wouldn't be able to afford it till 11th or 12th level. By that point...

    Do you have an FLGS?

Sort of? The place in question focuses mainly on comics and the like but it does have an RPG, mostly D&D and Pathfinder, and CCG section and runs a Friday Night Magic thing regularly. I was disappointed a while back when I asked if they had a bulletin board or anything that I could leave a...

Edition? In the 3.5 Magic Item Compendium there is a Force enhancement that's a +2 equivalent and ignores all DR.

TPK: Should I let it happen? Am I being fair?

Here is what I would do. The PCs burst in and are confronted with the big bad demon of evilness. Make it abundantly clear that this thing is WAY beyond their abilities. It scoops some of the cultists and eats them nonchalantly, growing larger as it does. Everyone, not just the good cleric /...

Woe's of the Assassin Prestige class.... Help.

Rather than creating or crafting a contingency spell, is there someone within your assassin guild that you can give the letter to along with a large purse of coins with the instructions "Should I die, deliver this to The Grand High Inquisitor."?

    D&D 3.x New body slot( dentures )

I played a barbarian that had his teeth removed and replaced with adamantine teeth, giving him a bite attack. I think we treated it like a magical graft and it did not take up a body slot. I had an amulet and a face item with the teeth. Later, I enchanted the teeth so they would be magical (+1).
