Quantumania was the only major miss for me, everything has been at least decent to good in this phase. As for The Marvels ... I really liked it, probably in the upper echelon of post-Endgame MCU. Solid characters, a fun story, and it kinda breezed by, didn't feel overly long.

I thought the trailer wasn't that bad, but then that list of credits ... oof.

Yet to play or DM past 10th level here. Campaigns just tend to peter out, or if we're running a pre-published, the bulk of them barely go past this level (have played through Curse of Strahd, Descent into Avernus and Dragon Heist).

Dying, to me, suggests they would go the way of the musical or western, and I don't see that happening, there's enough pop culture credit behind the characters and IP for superhero movies to continue. I do see this as a moment of transition, as Marvel realizes they can't flood the theatres...

I was skeptical when Universes Beyond was announced, but I'll admit I think it's been a good thing. These cards are gorgeous, and I'm picking up the Doctor Who set this week.

What I'd guess is what people here are more or less musing on ... a Druid can prepare a limited number of forms (like the last playtest), some of which can be templates. So a Druid could prepare Predator of the Land (generic attack template) and two CR 1/4 beasts.

This would be easier if I had an idea what else is in the DMG and how the page count is managed. Conceptually, adding a way to manage and build a place for PCs to have as a home base is fine. So a refined version of a bastion system is perfectly acceptable, depending on what else is in the book...

I do think that FATE is really good at running any established franchise setting, like Star Trek, because it works well within a shared understanding of the narrative and genre conventions. I've considered FATE instead of trying to learn whatever "official" system exists for said setting.

I wasn't aware this was a whole group of systems, only knew about Star Trek Adventures. I was researching the system, I looked briefly into it as we were discussing a new campaign, but haven't played it. (Ended up starting up a Star Wars campaign using FATE)
