    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Physical Copy

I have my pdf. It's beautiful. I don't have my print copy. I'm sure that will arrive soon. Comments: a low resolution version of the PDF would be nice. I'm sure you abhor the thought of mangling your lovely artwork, but a smaller & lighter file size would make reading easier. edit: print...

What do you call an illiterate wizard?

Dangit, now you got my mind wandering like David Carridine in Kung-fu. * wizards are taught to examine the motion of the planets, comets, and starts to decipher patterns. Spell recovery is dictated on the visibility of the nighttime sky and the time of year. You could tie this in with...

What do you call an illiterate wizard?

Joking aside the message can be passed along in other forms than written communication.

    Playtesting?

Maybe we could playtest if we sent them donuts?

What do you like about Planescape?

That game got me hooked on the setting. I like the idea of entire realities fighting each other. I like that two neutral good elf wizards that are identical in every respect in the game, might have a blood curdling hatred for each other based on disparate philosophies. I like the arbitrary...

    Cast a D&D movie - with gamers!

Felicia Day as the spunky female lead! She was on Buffy from time to time and she is an avid World of Warcraft player!

Why so many in a hurry to leave 3E?

That's how I'm starting to feel. I admit to getting carried away by the momentum. Plus, chicks dig it.

Arcanis or Scarred Lands - Help me decide

I never tried out Arcanis I liked the Scarred Lands books I got. My one and only problem with them is that they had material referenced across several books. So you'd read about a monster in book A and the stats for it would be in book B. A solid game setting though.

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

They aren't charging you for stuff you bought they're charging you to help use the stuff you bought. All publications have stuff that doesn't make it into the book because of space or time or budget. Now you have a chance to see more of that if you pay the cash for it.

    D&D 4E 4E Race Anti-Survivor

Half-Orc. The brute has a definite place but the half-orc implies a violent non-good character. I bet the core books are a little more upbeat.

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

Half-Orcs and Monks is my bet.

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

-could be cool -good -irritates me as not being "true" D&D but is probably good for a cleaner port to a CRPG/MMORPG -good -I've heard only good -excellent -a technically fine drawing that is not to my personal taste

    Collecting books for 3.x

Oh, well there's no question that the prominent d20 book was Magical Medieval Society Western Europe. And to update that they'll have to ... have to ... do nothing. Jeeze. It's like JoeB is the Warren Buffett of indie RPGs.

    That is awesome.

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

It's not that I'm offended, it's just a joke that I think does a good job of highlighting a concern. I do the same thing sometimes with the title Llamaworld d20 when I want to talk about someone's hypothetical fantasy heartbreaker. And it really doesn't have anything to do what what may or may...

    My concerns for D&D Insider

Oh and another thing about the message boards.... The automatic ownership of content? Good. TSR/D&D got burned on that with the Dungeon CD-ROM. There's a million internet wanna-be lawyers out there. Just claim ownership up front and get it over with. Many IP industries are trending this...

    My concerns for D&D Insider

For all intents and purposes, this was possible with 3e. You write the Book of d20 Awesome as a PDF. It sells 400 copies (outstanding pdf sales) and gets nominated for an ENnie. WotC picks it up for free and republishes it with their logo and you are only mentioned in the legal section in 8pt...

4th edition, what did you know and when

Actually to me it looks like they're tweaking the game to make it easier to play an online session over the internet. And I think that's a pretty good idea.

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

Sheesh. A low licensing cost would do the trick for most of them. Which isn't necessarily bad if the goal of the license is to earn a few bucks while preventing a market glut and to keep control of the brand (e.g. Book of Erotic Fantasy 2: The FATAL Edition)
