Character Sheet App for Android 3.0 Honeycomb - Input Wanted

I'd also be up for testing eventually, this is something I could certainly use.

    Feminist adventures?

This almost makes sense, until you realize that the reason that particular method suppresses her powers is the aforementioned fan service (or a specific kink of her creator, if you prefer.)

    Stupid question needs intelligent answer.

The simple answer is "look what the character builder will let you do." In this case it is restrictive; slayers can't take knight auras and knights can't take slayer auras, and neither can take regular fighter at-wills. Some of the other essentials classes are not restrictive that way, though...

What Do You Want In A Converted Adventure?

Who said anything about scanning the original? I just want the conversion document in PDF form so I can easily read/print it from different platforms (say, my home PC, or my Xoom, or my phone...)

    Fortune Cards: you likey?

I voted have not/will not, but I don't really begrudge their existence for the people who want to use them. There's enough going on at our table already I think without another pile of thingies that we have to remember taking up space.

Flail, Holy Symbol, Ki Focus, Totem expertise - what should they do?

I think for flails I'd go for +1/+2/+3 damage when used for close attacks, maybe, make flails the niche weapon for melee attacks that hit a bunch of people.

What Do You Want In A Converted Adventure?

DM/player advice stuff is by far the least important. Encounter details and stat blocks are the most important and the only *truly* necessary thing. (although I can even get by without stat blocks if you're using standard stuff out of the Compendium.) Properly calculated treasure placement and...

    I have Heroes of Shadows

Good to know you speak for everyone. I really don't see a problem with having a wider variety of complexity available in characters. Some people really do want the simpler first edition fighter type class (and this still has more choice than that.)

Second-Guessing Myself: Allow Teleporting While Falling?

Note, or not? It changes the meaning completely (rare for a (possible) typo.)

The vampire starts with just 2 healing surges

This actually looks pretty fun on the surface of things, to me at any rate, which is a big surprise. I had expected the class to go down the 'modern' vampire road, I'm glad they went with the Hammer-style vampire for the theme instead. Beyond that I think people are getting way, way too ahead...

    Moral Concequences

I don't think there really needs to be any game rules type consequence beyond telling the player to cross unaligned off of their character sheet and write evil instead. Consequences in-game should follow naturally like they would for anyone.

Amazon listing for the Book of Vile Darkness

Are we? This sounds like a little paperback bundle along the lines of the modules (but with a higher list price), I'm not in publishing so I don't know the relative costs of producing these things but my guess is that this isn't really the same niche as that stuff.

    Epic! Yes. Fail? Maybe.

It seems to me that the very simple reason there's less demand for Epic tier content is simply that the average game falls apart before it gets that far, because it takes a long time for a game to get that far, and people get busy/lose interest/move away/have kids/get distracted by another...

    The CB is still crappy

Yes, that in particular is annoying, and the first thing that leaps to mind. Rod Expertise is under armor training for example, and while I understand that the mechanics of the feat support that, sort of, it is not the place a warlock or invoker is going to think of to go find their expertise...

    The CB is still crappy

The biggest things missing for me at this point are the ability to specify custom deities and the ability to add bonus feats or ignore feat prerequisites (particularly so that you can give appropriate Channel Divinity and/or Domain feats to characters who worship the non-enterable custom...

    A little Build Assistance?

Perhaps worth noting that you can always take the more generic Jack of All Trades feat from the PHB which gives a +2 instead of a +3 to untrained skill checks. (Prereq is 13 intelligence, not restricted to just bards.)

    The CB is still crappy

In part because there's no particular evidence that the CB specifically is actually to blame for the problems you're having, given the essentially flawless performance other people are reporting. The combination of browsers (and patch levels of those browsers), OSes, drivers, hardware, etc...

    Legends and Lore: Balance

As far as multi-round casting goes, I think it needs to still involve some positive/partial progress or it will just feel way too crappy for the player. Something along the lines of you fire a weak-ish attack as part of the casting for a couple rounds, if you are hit you lose your progress...

    A little Build Assistance?

The ranged bard is definitely a good idea given what you've said about the rest of the group being melee-heavy; it is very possible for melee-heavy groups to get themselves into trouble against ranged opponents in 4e since it isn't quite as easy for a fighter to just bust out the bow and shoot...

April and Beyond: Actually full of things most people will like!

I definitely recommend you read the rest of it when you get some time. I don't think any other early fantasy encapsulates what D&D started out as well as Leiber. Oh, and nice work as always.
